The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs allows individuals to make Zakat donations online, through SMS or telephone.

The amount of Zakat due each year should equal 2.5% of a Muslim’s disposable income and wealth. They can also calculate Zakat online.

Zakat Fund, in collaboration with the QIB, launched a service to receive different types of donations through QIB’s ATM machines distributed all over the country. Those wishing to make donations through an ATM machine will find the service very simple. All they need to do is to select “charitable donations” services, then select “Zakat Fund”. They will be asked to select a language (Arabic or English), and then select the account in which they wish to deposit their donation.
