FAQ On Diya Pakistan Scholarship

What is the Procedure for Receiving Educational Stipends?
Fill the online application and provide scanned documents through email. After review that takes about 30 to 60 days (depending upon the work load) . The cheque will be despatched to your institue. The institute will handover your cheque after verification to you.

I’m enrolled in a Private College / University. Can I still Apply?
In majority of the cases, our assistance is limited to students enrolled in public institutes of learning with low tuition fee and expenditures.

This ensures that our stipend amount is of significant assistance to the beneficiary. You may apply if you come from a low-income background but please note that we do not encourage such applications.

What is Diya’s Eligibility Criteria for Educational Stipends?
** Educational stipends are awarded to talented and finacialy distressed students.

** Student must currently enrolled in graduation and master level programmes in Pakistani Universities.
** Minimum 60% marks required for all levels. For detail read Instruction Page.

How many times I can get scholarships?
Scholarship is given fiscal yearly basis until you enrolled in college for graduation and master level.

What is the amout of scholarship?
Scholarship is calculated on the basis of marks % (Matric, Inter, Graduation, Semesters) and course type and some other parameters. Normal scholarship amount start from 6600 to 20,000 approx per year.

Special scholarship amount starts from 30,000 to 60,000 per year, which will be given on extra ordinary deserving cases on special criteria selection. This fund is very limited and donor based.

What if I am studying in Intermediate level or below?
Talented and deserving students in Intermediate Level or below, will apply through their Institutes/schools. Diya Pakistan is currently giving scholarships in Govt. Schools only. The school must be registered with Diya Pakistan first.

To renew your Diya Pakistan Scholarship online, you need to follow these steps:
1. Go to the Diya Pakistan website: https://diyapak.org/
2. Click on the “Scholarship” tab.
3. Click on the “Renewal” tab.
4. Enter your scholarship number and password.
5. Upload the required documents:
** Head of Institute Attestation Form (HOI)
** Latest university Semester/ Annual Result Transcript
** Last Fee Receipt / Bank Challan
6. Click on the “Submit” button.

Your scholarship renewal application will be reviewed by Diya Pakistan and you will be notified of the status of your application within 30-60 days.

** Head of Institute Attestation Form (HOI):This form must be signed and stamped by the head of your institute.
** Latest university Semester/ Annual Result Transcript: This document must show that you have passed all of your courses in the previous semester/year.
** Last Fee Receipt / Bank Challan: This document must show that you have paid your tuition fees for the current semester/year.
