New Membership

** Go to the E-Services tab on SASO’s website
** Click on new membership button
** Complete the registration form
** Pick the subscription duration (1 year SAR 1000 , 2 years SAR 1500 , 3 years SAR 2000)
** Click on the submit button
** An invoice with Sadad number will be generated
** Once the payment is posted the membership will be activated

Quality Membership

Registering for a Quality Activities Membership
Membership Benefits :
1. Obtaining a certificate of membership;
2. Having the right to use the membership logo on prints;
3. Participating in setting a futuristic quality strategy and implementing it;
4. Having the priority to attend events organized by SASO, such as conferences, seminars, workshops, training courses…etc. in different quality fields;
5. Having membership indicated on SASO’s website;
6. Gaining the latest information about quality;
7. Being a member for free for the first year, setting nominal fees will be considered after that.

OID Identifiers

An OID is a unique global digital identifier for each country. It is used to identify documents, countries and organizations. It is a sequence of numbers separated by dots, and is arranged structurally, with no limits of the structure levels.

SASO, as a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is responsible for reserving the Kingdom’s identifers and communicating with the International Telecommunications Organization (ITU).

Car Checking

The vehicle inspection unit detects the imported used cars, or used cars that their owners want to change the identity of the car (the model) for example (from du​mp truck to tank truck, etc.) in accordance with the conditions and regulations set forth in the related Saudi standards.

New Request

Car Check Unit inspects imported second hand cars and used cars that will undergo an identity change by the owner. The inspection is based the rules and regulations set forth in the Saudi standards

How to Use

** The user must input the car Declaration No. and Hijri Declaration year
** Press View Vehicles button
** The information of the car associated with the declaration number will appear
** The user has the required permission to modify the mobile number associated with the declaration number. This will enable him to receive the Sadad SMS
** The user can choose the inspection site
** The user can choose or remove unwanted vehicle form the list
** Sadad number will appear once the process is completed

Way to Verify the Conformity of Imported Cars :
1. Receiving conformity verification request : Once the request is received, the person responsible for receiving requests, whether in SASO or in the branch, registers the request and makes sure of completing the required information.

2. Implementing the client’s request.
3. Inspecting the car : upon receipt of the car inspection request (after the customer pays the costs of the car inspection and enters the necessary information, according to what is shown on the site and signboards in inspection units).

The Vehicle inspection technician makes sure of the payment status and accuracy of data entered in the system, after comparing that data with the car data and the attached data.

4. After confirming having received the payment and conforming the validity of the data, the specialized technician makes the inspection and inquires about the car’s safety through these sites (special for US and Canadian cars).

5. Once the inspection is completed, the specialized technician enters the inspection result in the system, prints the vehicle inspection certificate, reviews it, and then submits it to the Director of inspection.

6. When the Inspection Unit Manager receives the certificate, he reviews it, approves it, signs it and puts the protection poster. Afterwards, it is delivered to the client.​
