GOSI E-Payment

For the convenience of employers and contributors, and order to facilitate monthly contribution payment and increase the application of e-services, GOSI launched the e-payment service through SADAD payment system available at all local banks (ATM, phone banking, bank’s website, mobile banking app as well as the bank’s branches).

E-Payment for Employer

Using the e-payment service available in all local banks, the employer can pay monthly contributions by entering the establishment registration number in the electronic channels provided by each bank for its clients (ATM, phone banking, bank’s website, mobile banking app as well as the bank’s branches).

FAQs

1. Is it allowed to start pension payment to a contributor before attaining the age of sixty?
Under the Social Insurance Law, a male contributor who has not attained the age of sixty and stops engaging in any work under the scheme can apply for pension entitlement provided that the contribution period is not less than 300 months i.e., 25years.

Under the Social Insurance Law, the contributor can be entitled to pension before attaining the age of sixty in the following two cases :
1. Contributors who are engaged in arduous or unhealthy occupations (such as mining and stone breaking) and have a contribution period of 120 months.
2. If the contributor is sentenced to jail for three months or more and had a contribution period not less than 120 month, his family members are entitled to the pension.
3. After the elapsed of at least six months of being absent, the missing contributor is treated as a deceased contributor with respect to insurance rights.

If it is proved to GOSI that the absence was due to work related reasons, and this contributor was subject to Occupational Hazards Branch, the rights of his family members are determined in accordance with the provisions of the Branch.

2. When should the payment of an early retirement pension be entitled to?
The pensions should be entitled to with effect from the beginning of the month immediately following the date of application for payment

3. What are the conditions of pension payment?
Entitlement to pension requires the following :
1. Attaining the age of sixty or over.
2. Stop engaging in any work subject to the scheme.
3. The contribution period shall not be less than (120) months.
