You must be available at this time to provide the required confirmation.

The All Ireland Scholarship Trust will contact you to make the formal offer of the Scholarship by early October 2014 and you must accept this offer within the timeframe specified otherwise it will be withdrawn.

Unsuccessful candidates will not be notified. If you have not received a letter from DEL by the end of September 2014, your application has been unsuccessful.

5. Payments :

If you have been successful, you will receive three instalments during each academic year by electronic transfer into your bank account.

The first instalment will be paid when you provide DEL with proof of registration with the university. You must provide proof of continued attendance at university to receive any further payments. DEL will advise you of the required submission dates for this confirmation and of future payment dates.

If you undertake a paid work placement as part of your undergraduate course, you must inform DEL in writing and the scholarship payment may be withheld for that year.

If you wish to change course or faculty during the course of your studies you must obtain prior written approval of the All Ireland Scholarship Trust. The scholarship payments will be deferred until you reach the same level you were at when you stopped the original course.

You must inform DEL immediately if you change course or cease your university studies. The scholarship may not be paid for a second period of attendance at the same course level. The scholarship will however start again when you successfully progress into the next course year. You will have to pay back any money received up to the point of ending your university studies.
