Redeem Miles for yourself or family members :
Members can redeem mileage awards from their SKYPASS account for registered family members
Redeem Miles using the Family Plan :
Family Plan may be used when a member has insufficient miles to redeem an award. It allows members to supplement insufficient miles for award tickets and upgrade awards by using mileage accumulated by family members.
Terms and Conditions :
** Award can be redeemed by the primary member or family member(s) who have enrolled in SKYPASS Family Registration.
** SKYPASS award travel may be endorsed to the primary member’s grandparents, parents, spouse, children, grandchildren, siblings, parents-in-law, son-in-law and daughter-in-law.
To register family members, please request Family Registration online or complete the SKYPASS Family Registration Form and submit it along with a copy of government issued family register as a supporting document via mail or facsimile to :

** Please allow 1 – 2 weeks for processing. To view SKYPASS Family Registration status, please login to Award Booking.
** All flights must be confirmed prior to awards ticket issuance. Waitlists and open reservations are not allowed. Korea domestic award booking must be requested separately by phone. Please contact North America Call Center at 1-800-438-5000 for further assistance.
Example) New York – Seoul – Busan – Seoul – New York should be separated into :
1) New York – Seoul – New York (International : online award redemption)
2) Seoul – Busan – Seoul (Domestic : by phone)
Note :
** Peak travel dates for International award travel are as below. Additional 50% of off-peak miles are required for travel during peak periods.
** The peak season of routes between North America and South America such as LAX/GRU v.v will be applied to the seasonality departing from Americas.

Important :
** Award tickets are subject to, and the passenger is responsible for, applicable fuel surcharges, taxes and fees. Fuel surcharge can vary depending on the local area or city of departure. Fuel surcharge and taxes/fees will be automatically calculated into your award ticket at the time of purchase. Award validity is 1 year from the date of ticket issuance.
** Children between 2 and 11 years old are required to purchase a seat. Passenger’s age is based on the date of departure. Infants under 2 years are eligible for Award Travel with 10% of total miles required for qualifying adult travelers.
** E-tickets will be issued for award travel. For security purposes, it is required to present the credit card used in the online award booking during check-in process. Payment with a third party’s credit card is strictly prohibited in Koreanair.com unless a traveler is accompanied by an actual card holder.
** After an award ticket is issued, changes are permitted only within the same season and cabin class. For more information on change or cancellation of reservation, please contact North America Call Center at 1-800-438-5000.
** Please keep in mind that miles will not be additionally deducted only when refund of bonus miles is requested 1 year before a bonus award date.
** (If the refund is requested 1 year after a bonus award date, 10,000 miles will be additionally deducted.)
