Instruction on making Payments :
** Making payments on the NISLT website is quite simple.
The few steps below explain exactly what you are to do :
1. Choose the service for which you want to make payment. For example, if I were to pay for NISLT training programme, I would click on Training, and then click on Registration.
2. Next, you are to choose among the arrays of Training available the particular one you wish to register for by clicking “Register for this Training Workshop”
3. Next, you are to fill in your personal details for the training, after which you are to click “Proceed to Payment Page”
4. You will be taken to the payments page, which state how much you are paying. There, you are to click pay in front of the appropriate payment method you want to use. For example, if you click pay in front of Interswitch, Verve and Mastercard, you would be taken to the Secured Interswitch Payment module directly from InterSwitch, where you can make payments with your Mastercard or Verve Card.
About Us :
The idea of establishing a professional body of Science Technologists to manage and maintain institutional and industrial laboratories in Nigeria was proposed in July 1971 by the then Federal Commissioner of Education late Mr. A. Y. Eke.
This proposal materialized when on 25th of March, 1972 the Nigerian. Institute of Science Technology (NIST) the forerunner of the present Institute was inaugurated in Ibadan.
Within a few years of its existence the Institute earned for itself great recognition among science technologists working in various laboratories of tertiary educational institutions, research centres, health, industries, petrochemicals, agriculture and telecommunications.
In 1994 the Institute started the processes of transformation when it directed its efforts towards obtaining statutory recognition. Towards the middle of the year 2003, the transformation processes materialized when the Act of the National Assembly No. 12 of 2003 establishing the Institute was gazetted.
