Marriage & Estate Registration :

Marriages :
** Applicant may obtain prescribed Declaration Forms at GH 5 cedi and complete with the assistance of the Marriage Registrar.

** Deposit duly completed forms in addition to a processing fee of GH 45 cedi to the in–house bank.

** Declaration for consideration
** Two witnesses are to be provided from each side of the couple if marriage is to be celebrated at the Registrar General’s Department.

** Registrar issues Marriage Certificate
** Time Frame : Two days

Administration Of Estates :
** Applicant may submit Letters of Administration (Original and one Photocopy)
** Head of family provides affidavit authorizing Beneficiaries to take Letters of Administration.
** Marriage status of deceased / names / ages of all children.

** Introductory letter from deceases place of work introducing the administrator of the deceases estates to the Administrator–General
** Two passport sized pictures of each administrator.

** All document are examined and approved.
** A date is fixed to interview administrators on veracity of document submitted for approval.
** Cheque is issued in the name of Administrator.

Incorporation Of Partnership :
** Applicant may purchase and complete Form “A” for Incorporation of Partnership from the in-house bank at GH 3.50 cedi.
** Present duly completed form together with a stamped partnership agreement at the Registry.

** Pay prescribed fee of GH 160.00 cedi.
** Registrar examines document and issues certificate of registration.
** Time Frame : Within five working days.

Business Names :
** Applicant may pick up a prescribed Form A from the in-house bank at GH 3.50cedi.
** Submit filled forms at the bank in addition with a processing fee of GH60.00 cedi

** Registrar examines and issues business registration certificate as well as certified true copy of the form to be submitted as attachment
** Renewal each year at GH 25.00 cedi.
