Connecting to eServices :

eServices being a Web application will allow its users to connect to it through the internet.

After getting connected to the internet, a Client/User will enter eservices.secp.gov.pk in the address bar of any internet explorer.

Signing Up for User Accounts :

** For eServices interaction, A Client/User will have to Sign Up for an account with the application first. The companies which are already incorporated UNDER THE COMPANIES ORDIANCE, 1984, will be allocated an eServices user ID and Password by SECP. The detail for obtaining these identification items is as under;
** Companies already incorporated will apply for an eServices User Identification and Password by writing a letter, on the company letterhead, duly signed by the Chief Executive Officer and the Company Secretary, or Chief Financial Officer, or one of the Directors of the company, along with a copy of their CNIC.
** The Company will mention the email address on which the eServices User Identification and Password will be dispatched. Please, only provide POP3 email address such as abc AT comsats.com, free email address such hotmail, gmail, or yahoo is not acceptable.
** SECP will confirm the validity of the email address, after validation the eServices User Identification and Password will be emailed to the specified email address.

All letters requesting an eServices User Identification and Password to be addressed to Director (MIS), SECP at the following address :

Initial User Account :

For new company owners two Sign Up options are available i.e. as Initial and Secondary user Sign up.
** Initial User Account
** Secondary User Account(s)

A user signing up for an initial/first eservices account will act as a Company Account Administrator. He/She after a successful signup of his/her own account will have the authority to add/delete secondary accounts. The Sign Up link at the Login area of eServices homepage is made available for the purpose of signing up for an Initial User Account.

Application Response :
After submitting an account application to eServices, the user will receive an email from the eServices Administrator to his/her given email account. This email contains a “User Activation link”. The recipient has to click the hyperlink to active his/her account with eservices. Figure 2.5 below presents a snapshot of eServices response to the client via an email.

Secondary User Account :

For new company owners two Sign Up options are available i.e. as Initial and Secondary user Sign up.

** Secondary User Account(s)

Secondary user accounts are for company officials other than the Administrator (Initial account holder). These accounts are made so that other authorized company officials can also interact/help out with Company compliance procedures, if required. An Administrator will approve Secondary users by using the “Manage Company Users” link on his/her Account Home page.

Application Response :
After submitting an account application to eServices, the Secondary user will receive an email from eServices Administrator at his/her provided email account. This email contains a “User Activation link”. The recipient has to click the hyperlink to active his/her account with eservices.

Logging on to eServices :
After Signing Up to the eServices web application, initial and secondary users will logon to eServices using their Login Name and Password.

System Requirements :
eServices being a web based application will require a special system arrangement/up gradation for a smooth process commencement.

The system requirements are listed as under :
** Personal Digital Certificate (purchased from NIFT)
** Internet Explorer 5.5 or later
** JRE 1.4.x installed
** Internet Connection
