Renew an Outdoors Card :
To renew a card, you need this information :
** Outdoors Card number
** date of birth

** postal (or zip) code last on file

When to renew :
** Outdoors Cards, fishing licence tags and small game licence tags that are expiring this year can be renewed in December.

How to renew :
You can renew your card :
** online
** in person at participating ServiceOntario centres
** in person at a licence issuer
** by phone at 1-800-288-1155 (Ontario residents only)
** You can print out, or will be issued, a temporary licence to use until a plastic card arrives in the mail.
** If you renew by phone, your replacement Outdoors Card and licence tag(s) will arrive in approximately 20 days.
** You cannot hunt or fish until your plastic card arrives.

Overview :
** To fish or hunt in Ontario, most people need a valid licence.

This includes :
** an Outdoors Card (valid for 3 calendar years)
** fishing and/or hunting licence tags (valid for 1 or 3 calendar years)
** You need an Outdoors Card before you can buy a licence tag.

A licence tag is either :
** a separate document you carry with your plastic Outdoors Card or
** directly printed on the back of your Outdoors Card
** You must carry both an Outdoors Card and the appropriate licence tag whenever you fish or hunt.

Accepted methods of payment :
** VISA, MasterCard or American Express
** debit/cash (in person only)

Replace an Outdoors Card :
You can replace a lost, stolen or damaged card or licence tag in person :
** at a participating ServiceOntario centre
** at a licence issuer
** You will receive a temporary licence to use until a replacement plastic card arrives in the mail

Fees :
** Renew/replace an Outdoors Card only – $9.68 plus service fee
** Replace a lost, stolen or damaged Outdoors Card and licence tag – $10.50 plus service fee

Hunting and fishing licence issuers :
** Find a nearby location that sells hunting and fishing licences, tags and related products and services.

Products available :
You can visit any one of these licence issuers to :
** renew an Outdoors Card
** buy a fishing licence tag
** buy a small game licence tag
** buy a wild turkey licence
** buy a wolf/coyote seal
** buy big game licence tags for deer, moose and black bear
** buy non-resident export permits

Apply to a draw :
** Select locations also let you apply to the annual big game draws to hunt moose, antlerless deer and deer in a controlled area.
** View the “additional services column” to see where you can apply electronically to a big game draw
