Apply For A New Permit Or A Renewal :

Visitors permits :
** If you are a resident in a controlled parking zone you can apply for the equivalent of 30 days parking per calendar year for your visitors.

** As a resident you must be either be registered on the council tax or electoral register for the address within the controlled parking zone.
** We no longer issue scratch cards and residents can apply using our online service, unlike the scratch card service there is no need to pay up front and the process is more environmentally friendly.

** Please note – any existing scratch cards will still be valid until the expiry date shown on them.

How to register :

Prices :
** Croydon Central Zone – £4 per day.
** Enforced 8am to Midnight, Monday to Sunday.

** Also available is an annual visitor permit which can be used in the evening after 6pm to midnight, and all day on Sunday, at a cost of *£15.00 per annum (plus an initial administration charge if applicable), the issue of which will be limited to one permit per household.

Note :
** all new annual visitors permits will be subject to a £30 administration charge (not applicable to renewals).

Croydon Inner Zones : £4 per day.
Includes :
** East Inner, East Outer, North, South, & West. Enforced 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

Croydon Outer Zones : £2.60 per day.
Includes :
** Bynes Road, Coulsdon, Coulsdon residents only, Napier Road, Norbury, Old Lodge Lane, Purley, Sanderstead, South Norwood and Thornton Heath.
** Enforced 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

Note :
** Please note there is a surcharge of 1.65% if you pay by credit card.
** There is no surcharge for debit cards.
** Resident visitor permit allow the driver to park in shared use bays only (Pay and Display and Permit holder bays) in the residents controlled parking zone.
** They are not valid for parking on housing estates.
** This virtual permit will not enable a holder to park in parking spaces controlled by Pay & Display Only signs, yellow lines or suspended bays.
** Any unused annual allowance will not be carried over to the next year.

Appeal a parking ticket : (Penalty Charge Notice or PCN)
** You cannot appeal by phone. Parking legislation states that all appeals must be made in writing (which includes online).

** If you think your ticket was issued incorrectly you can submit your appeal online. This is the quickest and easiest way to receive instant advice about appealing your ticket.
** Once you start the online process we will show you photos of how your vehicle was parked. (It may take up to 24 hours before photographic evidence is available online).

You will need the following information to appeal against your ticket :
** the 10 digit reference at the top of your ticket (PCN) starting with CR…
** your vehicle registration number.
