As part of this process you can activate a Digital Secure Key for a fast and secure way to bank online. If you’re an existing Online Banking customer, you can access the HSBC Mobile Banking app using your current log on details.

  1. I have been trying for over 8 hours to authorize a new secure access card. I have changed all security details, I have tried to download the mobile banking app on my laptop without success. I have loaded it on my mobile and it keeps telling me ‘error in getting communication details. SYS_0004’. I had called the bank and told there is over half an hour wait to be dealt with, and I am phoning UK from my home in Turkey. The lines are closed! I should have paid a 200 pound balance for my holiday yesterday and it looks as if I have lost my deposit money and the deposit money for 2 of my friends as well. I am not amused. I hope the bank is going to take responsibility for this awful service!!
