** Along with text alerts that help keep you aware of balances and payments, you have a virtual banking service in your pocket.

Mobile app features :
The Clydesdale Bank mobile app allows users of smartphones and tablet devices to :
** View your account balances and recent transactions
** Move money between your linked Clydesdale Bank accounts.
** Register for the text alert service
** Find a Clydesdale Bank access point near you – branch, ATM or Business & Private Banking Centre.

If you register using our Android or Apple mobile app, you will also be able to :
** Make payments to anyone using their sort code and account number
** Make payments to your existing internet banking payees.
** Transaction limits apply.
** Register for Paym and you will be able to send and receive payments using just a mobile number, with anyone also registered for this service.
** You can send £500 per transaction up to £1,000 per day.
** Only one current account can be registered to your mobile number for Paym.

Paym for mobile banking :
** Send and receive payments with only a mobile phone number
** As technology develops, so does our service, and you now have the option of sending and receiving funds with just a mobile number.
** Known as Paym, this technology was introduced by the Payments Council and can connect the mobile numbers and current accounts for up to 30 million customers of participating banks and building societies.
** Both sender and receiver must be registered for Paym, and it allows you to transfer money without a sort code or account number.
** Only one current account can be registered to your mobile number and you can send £500 per transaction to a maximum of £1,000 per day.
** This is not available on Blackberry devices.
** You can also be confident that payment speeds are the same as those through telephone, online and Faster Payments or LINK mobile payment.

Mobile banking safely :
To protect our customers we have a number of measures in place:
** Our mobile banking system is controlled by a comprehensive security structure, and includes the use of multiple firewalls and an intrusion detection system
** Our servers use 128-bit SSL encryption, the maximum level of protection for your account information
** To ensure our security system is up to date and fit for purpose, we had it vetted by external security consultants

Protect yourself :
There are several steps you can take to protect your personal details :
** Putting a passcode on your device can give you extra protection
** Log out of the mobile banking app if you’re not using it
** Don’t write down your security information or store it in your device
** Don’t divulge any of your security information to anyone else, even if the request appears to come from us
** Try to avoid sharing the device with which you carry out your mobile banking
** Check your account records carefully
** Use official stores when downloading our mobile app.
** It’s only available from official stores such as Apple App Store, Google Play™ and BlackBerry App World™
** Keep your app updated to make sure your device is not open to risks
** If your mobile device is compatible with anti-virus software, it’s a good idea to download one from a reputable brand
** Remember, we will never ask you for your security information via SMS or email

You must tell us as soon as you can by calling 0800 345 7 365 in the following circumstances :
** Your security details become known (or you suspect they have become known) to someone else
** You notice any errors or unauthorised transactions on your account
** You think someone else has or may try to access your account
** You become aware that your mobile device, or the computer that you sync your mobile device to has been lost, stolen or fraudulently accessed

Transaction limits :

Daily mobile banking limits per business day*. Funds can also be transferred on a weekend and bank holidays.
