Getting Started :
To start using HSBC Mobile Banking you will need:
** A compatible smartphone* device
** Registered details for Internet Banking.
** If you have not already registered for Internet Banking, click here
** Your passwords or Online Security Device
** Some features are not available when logged on with passwords
** Then you can access HSBC Mobile Banking by downloading the app from iTunes or Google Play.
** If your phone isn’t compatible with our app you can still access Mobile Banking by visiting .hsbc.com.au on your smartphone device and you will be automatically sent to HSBC’s Mobile Banking where you can instantly logon and begin banking on the move.
Compatible smartphone devices include :
** iPhone and iPad iOS 5.0 and above
** Android mobile phones that are V2.2 and above
** Windows Phone 8+ (some features may not be available currently)

How can I access other Internet Banking functions?
You can either select the quick link to the full public website available on the landing page and then log on using the logon option (Your mobile device should be able to deliver the content) or you can access hsbc.com.au using your PC.
Can I still use regular Internet Banking via my mobile phone?
Yes. Choose the “Full Website” option in Mobile Banking to open the standard desktop version of Internet Banking.
If I want to go to full website after I logon Mobile Banking, do I need to enter my username and password again?
Only the pre-logon page on Mobile Banking has a quick link to ‘Full Website’. You will have to logoff Mobile Banking and logon again after being directed to full Internet Banking.
Can I access HSBC Mobile Banking overseas?
Yes, you can access HSBC Mobile Banking anywhere you have an Internet connection via your mobile handset.
Can I activate my security device via Mobile Banking?
New security devices can only be activated if you access Internet banking via a PC.
Will I need to have my Online Security Device to use Mobile Banking?
No. You must be fully registered for Internet Banking before you can access Mobile Banking, but you may use your passwords to access Mobile Banking anytime. Some services may be restricted and require the use of your Online Security Device.
Can I schedule a transfer for a later or recurring date using Mobile Banking?
Yes, you can schedule a transfer for bill up to 30 days in advance on Mobile Banking.
