How to register for Barclays Mobile Banking :
Before you begin :
** You’ll need your Barclays debit card and your mobile phone or tablet to hand.
** You’ll also need to download the Barclays Mobile Banking app from the relevant app store.

You’ll need to finish your registration using one of the following :
Step 1 :
** Open the app – you’ll be asked to create a 5-digit code and enter it, and then re-enter it
** If you’re in a branch, your personal banker will help you complete registration.
** If not, tap ‘Continue’
** Now you’ll be asked to enter your mobile phone number, account details and your name. Once that’s done, tap ‘Continue’

Step 2 :
** You’ll receive a text message from us that includes a 6-digit passcode – tap this into the app.
** Now you can verify your registration straight away or later at a cash machine – if you close the app, you’ll start at this stage when you reopen it

** To verify at a cash machine, sign into the app with your 5-digit code and tap ‘Visit an ATM’.
** Insert your card and tap in your PIN. Select ‘Other Services’ from the menu, followed by ‘Barclays Mobile Banking’.
** Then follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 3 :
** To verify registration with your card reader, tap ‘Use PINsentry’ and tap in the last 4 digits from the long number on your debit card.
** Slide the debit card into your PINsentry and press the ‘Respond’ key.
** Type in your PIN and press ‘Enter’
** The card reader will display an 8-digit code – just enter this into the app and tap ‘Verify’.
** That’s it – you’re ready to start using Barclays Mobile Banking
