1. Prepare original documents :
General Account :
i. Identification proof
** Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card, or
** Valid passport / travel document plus Hong Kong Identity Card (if any) (For non-Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card holder only)

ii. ** Valid proof of current residential address bearing your name.
** Please refer to page 2 for details
** Permanent address proof is also required if such address is different from your current residential address.)

Kids Savings Account2 (For age under 18 only) :
i. Identification proof of parent or guardian :
** Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card, or
** Valid passport / travel document plus Hong Kong Identity Card (if any) (For non-Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card holder only)

ii. ** Valid proof of current residential address bearing parent or guardian’s name. Please refer to page 2 for details
** Permanent address proof is also required if such address is different from your current residential address.)

iii. Birth certificate of your kid :

2. Visit any Dah Sing Bank branch with above-mentioned documents and complete the new account application form

3. Assess or manage your finances at ease through our Branch Network, e-Banking Service or Self-Services Banking upon account opening

Acceptable Address Proof by The Bank :
** Utility bills issued within last 3 months including gas, telephone, water, electricity etc., or
** Recent correspondence issued by Government department / agency or other public bodies within last 3 months, e.g. HKSAR electoral board registration, or
** A statement or correspondence issued by an authorized institution, a licensed corporation or an authorized insurer within last 3 months, including banks, MPF providers, insurance company, or

** An acknowledgement of receipt duly signed by the customer in response to a letter sent by the Bank to the address provided by the customer within last 3 months, or

** Address proof of an immediate family member plus a written confirmation from the immediate family member confirming that the customer is living at that address in HK, setting out the relationship between the customer and the immediate family member within last 3 months (for students, housewives or senior citizens who are unable to provide proof of address of their own name), or

** Mobile phone or pay TV statements issued within last 3 months
