Additional Simplified Procedure

There are two main things to consider when applying for a visa to Canada:

Do you need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA):
An eTA is much quicker and easier to apply for than a visa. You can find out if you need a visa or an eTA here: [canada visa or eta ON Canada.ca]

Applying for a Visitor Visa:
If you determine you need a visa, here’s a general process:

Gather your documents:
This will include your passport, proof of funds, a travel itinerary, and possibly a letter of invitation. You can find a complete list on the Canadian government website [how to apply for visitor visa canada ON Canada.ca]

Submit your application:
You can apply online or in person at a Visa Application Centre.

Wait for a decision:
Processing times can vary depending on your situation.
