Outreach Scholarships :

PEEF has allocated 80% of the scholarships for “Outreach Scholarships” . These scholarships are awarded for studies in the following four (4) educational levels.

PEEF has allocated 20 % scholarships for the marginalized and under privileged students.

The level wise allocation of scholarship is given below :
** Secondary 20%
** Intermediate 30%
** Graduation 30%
** Masters 20%

Special Quota Scholarships :
These scholarships are categorized as “Special Quota Scholarships” and are awarded to:
** Orphan Childrens
** Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4(children of both serving and retired Govt. servants are eligible)
** Children belonging to minority religion
** Special Children

Special Quota Scholarship :
PEEF has allocated 20% of the total scholarship to Special Quota Category. The criterion for award of SQS is given below.

Scholarships are awarded under following four (4) categories :
** Orphans
** Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4 (children of both serving and retired Govt. servants are eligible)

** Children belonging to minority religion
** Special Children
** Children of Civilians Martyred in Terrorist Attacks

Process for the Award of Special Quota Scholarships :
a) For Secondary Level :
** Nominations for Secondary level scholarships are received through the office of Executive District Officer (EDO) Education, District Focal Committee (DFC), Directorate of Special Education and partner institutions.

** The applications received are scrutinized and eligible students are shortlisted against scholarships allocated for each category
** Eligible students fill and return the scholarship application forms back to PEEF.

** All the received forms are scrutinized and verified
** Final category wise lists are prepared for the award of scholarships
** Scholarships are awarded through the respective educational institutions where PEEF scholars are currently enrolled

b) For Intermediate & Graduation Level :
** News paper advertisement is released and applications are invited from meritorious students for Intermediate & Graduation level scholarships
** The applications received are scrutinized and eligible students are shortlisted against scholarships allocated for each category & gender

** Intimation letters & scholarship application forms are sent at the residential addresses of the eligible students
** Eligible students fills in and return the scholarship application forms to PEEF

** All the received forms are scrutinized and verified
** Category & gender wise merit lists are prepared for the award of scholarships

** Scholarships are awarded through the respective educational institutions where PEEF scholars are currently enrolled

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) is an initiative of the Government of Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. In order to make it more efficient, transparent and autonomous in its functioning;

PEEF is registered under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) was initially established with seed money of Rs.2 billion , which has now been raised to Rs. 16 billion.
