Pakistani Passport Holders :
The High Commission of India follows a streamlined process while considering visa requests from Pakistani passport holders.

In order to assist you to obtain your visa in a timely manner, please be advised that the following steps are taken before a visa application is processed

Step- 1 : Obtain the mandatory documents from India
Step- 2 : Access Online Visa Application Form
Step- 3 : Take two printouts of the online visa application form, SIGN the forms and affix photograph on each application
Step- 4 : Submit the visa application forms along with the mandatory documents, passport andfee at the nearest TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box as per the list of available locations in Pakistan (namely, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Mirpur Khas, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot and Sukkur)
Step- 5 : Applications are scrutinized and sent for clearance to Foreigner Division, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, India
Step- 6 : Once clearance is received, the visa is endorsed and passports are handed over to TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box
Step- 7 : TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box will contact the visa applicant for delivery of passports.

Non-Pakistani Passport Holder

In order to assist you to obtain your visa, please be advised that the following steps needs to be taken before the appropriate visa is issued :

Step- 1 : Obtain mandatory documents from India
Step- 2 : Access the online Visa Application Form
Step- 3 : Take two printouts of the online visa application form,SIGN the forms and affix two photograph
Step- 4 : Submit the visa application forms along with documents, passport and fee at the nearest TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box at various cities in Pakistan
Step- 5 : Once received at the High Commission, all applications are scrutinised and referred to the respective Indian Mission of the home country of the applicant and New Delhi for necessary clearance
Step- 6 : Once clearance is received, the visa is endorsed and passports are handed over to TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box
Step- 7 : TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box will get in touch with the visa applicant to deliver the passports.

Note:

** Visa applicants are required to complete all fields in the online visa application form correctly and accurately. Incorrect/ incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
After completing and submitting successfully the online visa application form, the printout of the form along with prescribed supporting documents and fees are to be submitted at any of the TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s International- Visa Drop Box .
** The issuance of visa, its type and duration are determined on the merits of each case. The High Commission reserves the right not to assign any reason for issuance / non-issuance of a particular type of visa.
** Please note that it is a mandatory requirement to be present in Pakistan at the time of applying for and obtaining an Indian visa.
** All applicants are advised to book their travel plans after obtaining the appropriate visa.
** Pakistanis holding dual nationality must apply only on their Pakistani passports.

** Foreign passport holders of Pakistani origin may kindly submit the online visa application form along with their foreign passport with a valid Pakistani visa or copy of the Pakistan Overseas Card.

Additional Simplified Procedure

To apply for an Indian visa in Pakistan, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) website: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/.
2. Click on the “Apply Online” button.
3. Select “Pakistan” as the country you are applying from.
4. Select the type of visa you are applying for.

5. You will need to provide the following information:
** Your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, and passport number
** Your contact information, such as your email address and phone number
** Your travel details, such as the purpose of your visit, the dates of your travel, and your address in India
** Your financial information, such as your bank statement or proof of employment
** A recent passport-size photograph
** A scanned copy of your Pakistani passport
** A scanned copy of your NADRA card
** A sponsorship letter from an Indian citizen or organization, if required

6. You will need to pay the visa application fee.
7. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with the status of your application.

Note:
The processing time for an Indian visa from Pakistan is typically 3-5 working days. However, it may take longer during peak season. You can track the status of your visa application online or by contacting the IVAC.

The following are the documents required for a Pakistani citizen to apply for an Indian visa:
** A valid Pakistani passport
** A recent passport-size photograph
** A filled-out visa application form
** A sponsorship letter from an Indian citizen or organization, if required
** Proof of financial support, such as a bank statement or proof of employment
** Proof of travel, such as an air ticket or train ticket

Note:
