1 Learner Permit : Learner permits are issued on daily basis with the validity of 6 months. Get a Highway Code Book of traffic rules & regulations when applying for Learner Permit.
Age criteria for learner permit :
Motor Cycle/Motor Car – 18 Years
LTV, Rikshaw, Tractor Commercial – 21 Years
HTV – 22 Years
Necessary documents required for learner permit
i) Copy of CNIC
ii) Ticket of Rs. 60 for each category (issued by General Post Office and Learners Permit Office)
iii) Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)

2 Regular Driving Licence : Necessary documents required for regular driving license
** Copy of CNIC
** 3 Passport size photographs
** Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)
** Medical Fitness Certificate (only for the candidates of the age of 50 years or above)
** Application form (A)
** Original learner permit (at least 42 days within validity period)
** Paste relevant ticket on the document

3 International Driving Licence : Necessary Documents required for International Driving License
** Attested Copy of CNIC
** Attested Copy of Valid Driving License (issued by the licensing authority)
** 2 attested passport size photographs (one each from front and back)
** Attested Copy of Passport (valid for at least 6 months with visa affixed of country to be visited)
** Ticket of Rs.22 for court fee
** Ticket of Rs.60
Note: International Driving Licenses are issued on the day of receiving the application. Applicant will bring original CNIC, driving license and passport.

4 Renewal of Licence :
Necessary documents required for the renewal of license
** Copy of CNIC
** 2 Passport size photographs
** Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)
** Medical Fitness Certificate (only for the candidates of the age of 50 years or above)

** Original Driving License
