** ANZ Phone Banking gives you the ability to manage your accounts via any touchtone telephone anytime, anywhere.

How it works :
With ANZ Phone Banking you can :
** Check your account balances and transactions
** Transfer money between your linked ANZ accounts
** Pay your credit card
** Pay many regular household bills – you can set up payments to be made immediately, or up to 1 year in advance
** Hear and delete your upcoming bill payments
** Amend your automatic payments
** Set up or change your Fast Balance account, which will be played to you automatically each time you ring Phone Banking.
** Plus, with ANZ Phone Banking you press 0 at the main menu to talk to an ANZ Customer Service Consultant, from 6am – midnight, seven days a week.

For a demonstration :
** For a free trial, use the demonstration Customer Number below – no actual transactions will take place.
** Dial 0800 103 123
** Enter demonstration Customer Number 70108009 and press #
** Enter the demonstration PIN 13579 and press #.

How to register :
** To register for ANZ Phone Banking you must be at least 13 years old.
** All you’ll need then is a Customer Number, a PIN and an ANZ account that can be linked to ANZ Phone Banking.

If you haven’t registered for ANZ Phone Banking :
** Call 0800 269 296, (international +64 4 470 3142) between 6am and midnight, seven days a week

Already registered :
** If you have already registered for ANZ Phone Banking and would like to access your accounts:
** Call 0800 103 123, (international +64 4 472 7123) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and follow the prompts.
** Remember to have your ANZ customer number handy.

Make a payment – Phone Banking :
** ANZ Phone Banking can only be used to pay existing payees.
** To set up a new payee, please select option 0 for personal assistance after logging in to ANZ Phone Banking, or use one of our other channels.

Follow the steps below to make a bill payment in ANZ Phone Banking :
** Call 0800 103 123 to access ANZ Phone Banking. If you are overseas, call +64 4 472 7123 (toll charges apply)
** Enter your Customer Number and PIN when prompted
** Select option 4 for Payments
** Select option 1 for Pay a Person or Bill

Select the following when prompted :
** the account to pay from
** the recipient you wish to pay
** the amount of the payment
** the payment date (press # for today)
** Confirm the payment by pressing 1

How do I transfer funds between my accounts in ANZ Phone Banking?
Follow the steps below to transfer funds between your accounts in ANZ Phone Banking :
** Call 0800 103 123 to access ANZ Phone Banking. If you are overseas, call +64 4 472 7123 (toll charges apply).
** Enter your Customer Number and PIN when prompted
** Select option 3 for Transfer Money Between Accounts

Select the following when prompted :
** the account to transfer from
** the account to transfer to (if applicable)
** the amount of the transfer
** Confirm the transfer by pressing 1

How do I send money overseas in Phone Banking?
Before contacting us through ANZ Phone Banking, please ensure that :
** The amount you’d like to send is no more than NZD100,000.00
** If greater, the international transfer must be completed in branch
** You have enough available funds in the account you’re sending money from

You have the following details for the recipient :
** Name and address (can’t be a PO Box address)
** Full account number or IBAN (International Bank Account Number)
** Bank’s name, address and SWIFT Code (also known as a Bank Identifier Code/BIC)

If the above conditions are satisfied follow the below steps :
** Call 0800 103 123 to access ANZ Phone Banking. If you are overseas, call +64 4 472 7123
** Enter your Customer Number and PIN when prompted
** Select option 0 for personal assistance
** Select option 4 for International Payments
** You will be transferred to our International Payments team to complete the international transfer.
