DARD Online Services:

DARD Online Services is a secure system. You must apply for authorisation before any information can be accessed on DARD Online Services.

Before you can apply to use DARD Online Services you must have the following information:
DARD Known Facts Letter :
On application you will receive your DARD Know fact letter by post. The letter will include your DARD Access Key and instructions on how to use it. Please leave 4 working days for delivery.

Customer ID :
Your Customer ID is a 6 digit number beginning with 1 or 2. This number is often referred to as your IACS number or client reference number. It is not your Business ID, which begins with a 6. If you do not know your customer ID, please contact the Online Services Help desk

A Government Gateway ID:
A Government Gateway ID is a unique 12 digit number generated on application. The application requires your name, email address and a password of your choice (conditions apply). This number will be unique to you and can be used for other Government services such as VAT Online.
If you already use a Government Gateway ID for a different Government service you can use it to login to DARD Online services, but you will be asked for your DARD Access key and Customer ID the first time you login.

Accessing DARD Online Services for the first time:
** To sign into your DARD Online services account for the first time, have your DARD Access key and Customer ID ready.
** Apply for your Government Gateway ID (or use an existing Government Gateway ID).
** Take a note of your new Government Gateway ID and password. Keep it safe and secret
** Choose the option “Enrol for DARD Online Services”
** Enter your Customer ID and DARD Access key
** Choose Enrol in Service

If successful you will see your business details displayed at the top of the screen and the list of available DARD Online services.

Once successfully enrolled, you will not be asked to enter your DARD Access Key or Customer ID, for subsequent logins.

Enrolment for DARD Online Services:
To enrol for DARD Online Services you will need two unique identifiers. These identifiers are your “Known Facts” and are your Customer ID and your DARD Access Key. Your Customer ID may also be known as your Client Reference Number/ IACS/Application Reference. This number will start with 1 or 2 and is not your Business ID. If you do not know your Customer ID contact the DARD Online Services Helpdesk on 028 9442 6699.

Your DARD Access key is a nine digit code, beginning with a letter, followed by seven numerical digits and ending in a letter. This will be posted out to you on your request. If you do not have a DARD access key you can click here to request the letter.

After successful enrolment you will see the list of available DARD Online Services. You can apply to use each of the services by clicking on the service name and requesting access where appropriate. Access will be granted or denied within 24 hours during the working week Mon – Fri, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Login / Forgotten Details:
To login into DARD Online Services you need your Government Gateway User ID (12 digits) issued to you during registration and the password you created during registration.
** If you have successfully enrolled for DARD Online Services (process described below) but;
** Have forgotten your Government Gateway User ID and can remember your password, you can request your Government Gateway User ID by selecting Have you forgotten your UserID?
** Have forgotten your password and can remember your Government Gateway User ID, you can request your password by selecting Have you forgotten your Password?
** Have forgotten your Government Gateway User ID and your password you will need to contact the DARD Online Services Helpdesk on 028 9442 6699.
** If You have not successfully enrolled to DARD Online Services but have forgotten your Government Gateway User ID and your password you need to start the process again and follow registration advice above in the section New Government Gateway users
