Who can apply?:
Usually, any pensioner whose living conditions are poor, can apply to reside in the home for elderly. Ideally, the age must be over 55 years of age.

Any person who is employed may apply to get a house.
What documents do I require?
** Your latest pay-slip
** And national identity card
Where do I need to go?
You need to go to your respective district administration office.
How can I apply?
** Collect the form or get the form from the side.
** Fill the form yourself or get the assistance of the secretary/housing officer in the district and submit it to the office.
** The forms are then sent to the department of Land Use and Habitat once they are submitted to the DA office.

Who is eligible to adopt?
Any person above 21 years who is found to be fit and proper to raise a child may apply to adopt a child. Adopt with prior application made to the Supreme Court.
How do I go ahead with the adoption?
You must first of all identify a child. You can identify a child in an orphanage or any other means you wish. Then you must obtain the consent of the natural parent(s) of that child. Undergo medical test to determine medical fitness with regards to raising a child(ren). This applies to both applicant(s) as well as the child(ren) to be adopted. Apply to the Supreme Court of Seychelles.
