Purpose of the Units :
Provide Medical and Vocational Rehabilitation services to the patients referred to the Centre.
Services:
** Trains disabled persons in necessary skills for social integration.
** Provides rehabilitation services for disabled persons.
** Medical Unit Provides medical assessment and treatment for disabled patients.
** Audiology Uni Assess and provides aural rehabilitation for patients with hearing difficulties.
** Speech therapy Unit Evaluates, treats patients with speech impediments.
** Occupational Therapy Unit Assess and provide treatment to clients with Occupational deficits.
** Orthopaedic Unit Provides all orthopaedic appliances.
** Psychology Unit Provides mental, assessment, counselling and therapy.
** Vocational Training Unit Provide training to disabled persons admitted at the Centre in the following areas:

Child Protection / Abuse Cases :
Services Provided:
** Protect abused children and those who are at risk of Undertake inter-agency consultation work.
** Liaise with the Seychelles Police for interviews and child protection nurses for examinations.
** Organise case conferences.
** Maintain the child protection register.
** Application of child protection working together procedure.

Youth Residential Treatment Centre (YRTC)
Purpose of Service :
** Provide and maintained a safe and secure residential environment for the residents to develop their skills, abilities and socially responsible behavior
** Provide residential care treatment and rehabilitation of young persons offenders/delinquents.
** Ensure successful integration in the community.

** Residential care, treatment and rehabilitation of young person.

** Young persons aged between 12 –17 identified as at risk.
