What types of parking subscriptions are available at Sharjah Municipality? How much are the fees?

Required documents:
1. Copy vehicle registration card.
2. Copy of emirates ID for personal subscriptions, copy of trade licenses for commercial subscriptions.
3. To Whom It May Concern certificate is required for exceptional subscriptions. Only one card is allowed per individual.

How can a violation be challenged?
A violation can be challenged within one month of such violation through any of the below means :
1. Visiting the Municipality website.
2. Calling: 0522005/60
3. Approaching the public parking dept.’s building in 5th industrial area.
4. Visiting Sharjah municipality’s headquarters at Al Mussalla area, and submit a request to the Central Archive.
** The complaint is decided on within 3 working days and a letter will be sent to the complainant with the decision.

How can the parking fees be paid via SMS?
** To pay the parking fees via SMS send a text message with the plate source (emirate abbreviated name), space and then plate number to 5566. Example: shj 50111 for vehicles registered in Sharjah.

How are the amounts paid to the traffic and municipality refunded?
The mounts paid to the traffic and municipality is refunded as follows :
1. The Original receipt issued by the municipality to be submitted. If lost, a replacement will be issued after payment of fees.
2. The Original receipt issued by the traffic to be submitted. The receipt must bear the traffic stamp.
3. Copy of Emirates ID for personal vehicles.
4. Copy of trade license for commercial vehicles.
5. Vehicle registration card.
6. Approaching the collection division at the public parking dept. building to fill in the refund form and send it to financial dept.

How can shops preserve a parking space?
Parking spaces are designated to shops (from 8 am to 10 pm only), after meeting all requirements regarding the shop location, area and working hours Required documents :
1. Fill in the request form.
2. Copy of valid trade license.
3. Copy of valid tenancy contract.
4. Recovery of private commercial amounts of cargo is to bring the image trade license.
