Taking part is easy. Every day that you have a Cricket World Cup bet from Sunday 8 February to Sunday 29 March 2015, you get a chance to play Smash for Cash. If you place your bet in a participating store, you’ll recieve a TAB Smash for Cash Scratch Card. If you place your bet via your account, and are opted in for TAB promotions, we’ll email you a TAB Smash for Cash website entry link the following morning. By clicking this link, you’ll open the TAB Smash for Cash website. Hit a 6 through either the Scratch Card or online game and you’re an instant $5 betting voucher winner. You can also go in the draw to win $5,000.

Terms and Conditions:

A. All Entrants (“Entrants”) who participate in either the TAB Account Smash for Cash or the TAB Retail Smash for Cash (collectively the “Competition”) are deemed to accept the Competition – General Terms and Conditions of entry (conditions A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I, J and K). All Entrants who participate in the TAB Account Smash for Cash are deemed to accept the TAB Account Smash for Cash Terms of Entry (conditions 1-43). All Entrants who participate in the TAB Retail Smash for Cash are deemed to accept the TAB Retail Smash for Cash Terms of Entry (conditions 1-28). Entries that do not comply with the Competition General Terms and Conditions or the TAB Account Smash for Cash Terms of Entry or the TAB Retail Smash for Cash Terms of Entry will be deemed invalid and the New Zealand Racing Board (“NZRB” or “TAB”) takes no responsibility for such entries. All times given in these terms and conditions are references to New Zealand Local Time. All references to dollars given in these terms and conditions are references to New Zealand dollars.

B. The Competition Entry Period opens at 12:01AM on Sunday 8 February 2015 and closes at 11.59PM on Sunday 29 March 2015 (the “Competition Period”).

C. The TAB Smash for Cash consists of two (2) separate competitions. One competition will be run online for Entrants based on bets placed through online TAB Accounts (the “TAB Account Smash for Cash”). The other competition will be run in participating TAB Retail Outlets based on bets placed in store (the “TAB Retail Smash for Cash”).

D. Entrants may participate in the TAB Account Smash for Cash, the TAB Retail Smash for Cash or both. However, the TAB Account Smash for Cash and the TAB Retail Smash for Cash is completely independent of each other.

The TAB Account Smash for Cash Terms of Entry:
1. To be eligible to take part in the TAB Account Smash For Cash an Entrant must:
** Be eighteen (18) years of age or over at the time that an Entrant first participates in the TAB Account Smash for Cash during the Competition Period; and
** Hold a TAB account with the NZRB during the Competition Period.; and
** Have opted to receive electronic promotional material from the NZRB during the Competition Period (“Promo Yes TAB Account”).
2. The NZRB reserves the right to require any Entrant to produce identification to verify his or her age.
3. The TAB Account Smash for Cash comprises a series of Daily Freebet Draws and a single Grand Prize Draw.
4. Entrants will be able to track their progress towards eligibility for the Grand Prize Draw through an interactive online cricket runs score board (the “TAB Smash for Cash Scoreboard”).
5. The Entrant will have a virtual player (“Player”) which will represent that Entrant in the TAB Account Smash for Cash. In order to play TAB Account Smash for Cash , an Entrant must place one (1) single Cricket World Cup bet, of one dollar or more between the hours of 12:01AM and 11:59PM (“Promotion Bet Period”) through that Entrant’s Promo Yes TAB Account on any single day during the Competition Period (a “Promotion Bet”).
6. By 10:00AM on the day immediately after a valid Promotion Bet is placed, the Entrant will receive an email from the TAB that contains a website link to the TAB Smash for Cash website (the “Promotion Entry Website Link”). The Promotion Entry Website Link will be emailed to the email address which the NZRB has registered against the Entrant’s Promo Yes TAB Account. Entrants are responsible for ensuring their email address is up to date.
7. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion Entry Website Link will be deemed to have been delivered to the Entrant on the day and time that it is distributed to the Entrant’s email address by the TAB, as recorded by the email deployment server of the NZRB’s agent Skinny Marketing.
8. An Entrant must click the Promotion Entry Website Link in order to take the Entrant to the TAB Smash for Cash website. Subject to condition 20, when the Entrant arrives at the TAB Smash for Cash website, the Entrant must click ‘Play Your Shot’ in order to have their Player play the one (1) shot (“Virtual Shot”) they are entitled to for that particular day.
9. Entrants who are a Daily Freebet Winner in accordance with conditions 24 and 25 will be automatically awarded six (6) runs when they play their Virtual Shot (“a Maximum Shot”).
10. Entrants who are not Daily Freebet Winners in accordance with conditions 24 and 25 will be awarded a randomly assigned number of runs ranging from one (1) – four (4) when they play their Virtual Shot (“a Standard Shot”).
11. All runs scored by a Player through both Maximum Shots and Standard Shots will be cumulatively added to the Player’s single total score on the TAB Smash for Cash Scoreboard.
12. Notwithstanding any other condition, any Entrant to whom condition 30 applies will not be entitled to play a Maximum Shot. An entrant to whom condition 30 applies may only play a Standard Shot (see condition 31).
13. For the avoidance of doubt, the number of runs scored by a Player that plays a Standard Shot will always be either one (1), two (2), three (3) or four (4) runs. It is not possible for a Player to ever score a zero (0), five (5) or any amount of runs greater than five (5) when playing a Standard Shot. A Player will have an even probability of scoring either one (1), two (2), three (3) or four (4) runs when playing a Standard Shot. An Entrant cannot influence the amount of runs scored when playing a Standard Shot.
14. An Entrant will not receive more than one (1) Promotion Entry Website Link per day during the Competition Period (and on Monday 30 March 2015) regardless of how many Promotion Bets are placed by the customer during any particular day’s Promotion Bet Period.
15. Should an Entrant not place a valid Promotion Bet during the Promotion Bet Period for any particular day during the Competition Period, the Entrant will not receive a Promotion Entry
