Community Based Programmes:
Domestic Abuse Intervention Training Programme :
Training for front-line professionals working with families who experience domestic abuse and/or perpetrators. A 3-day certificate training programme to equip participants with knowledge and skills to identify, respond and intervene effectively in a trauma sensitive manner. Offered quarterly and open to professionals in the public and private sector.
Domestic Abuse Intervention Training Workshop :
Tailored for organizations working with victims and families impacted by domestic abuse, this 1-2 day workshop aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in trauma-sensitive identification, response, and intervention Available to community groups and organizations in the public and private sector
Love Shouldn’t Workshops/ Presentation:
Community based presentations to raise awareness of domestic abuse and provide a safe space for discussion focused on empowerment, safety planning and understanding the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their families. Available to community groups and organizations in the public and private sector.
Teen Safety Matters:
A comprehensive, evidence-informed prevention education program for middle school students in grades 6-8 and high-school students in grades 9-12. The programme educates and empowers teens and all relevant adults with information and strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to bullying, cyberbullying, all types of abuse, relationship abuse, digital dangers, exploitation, and human trafficking. Offered throughout the year to public and private schools upon request.
