Monash & NSC

We select students based on academic merit. Students who have excelled in certain pre-requisite subjects can add “bonus” points to their score based on the following (to a maximum of four bonus points):
** English (5) or higher = +2
** Mathematics (5) or higher = +2
** Math Literacy (6) or higher = +2

Check the academic requirements for the degree or programme you’d like to apply for to find out about subject requirements and minimum NSC entrance scores.

Didn’t study the NSC? You can still apply:
If you have studied an international qualification the academic requirements will differ. Be sure to check before applying. And if you don’t meet the requirements maybe our Foundation Programme is for you. It bridges the gap between your highest qualification and what Monash accept for entrance, and it works – 60% of our 2012 graduates began their university career with the Foundation Programme.
