E-Wanted person Information System :

1. To access the e-WPIS, go to PNP official site. On the address bar of your internet browser, type https://acg.pnp.gov.ph/main/. On related linkages drop down , click E-Warrant and click GO button. The recommended browser for e-WPIS is Mozilla Firefox.

Encoder module can be accessed by provincial users only.

2. This is the User Registration Page of the e-Wanted Person Information System (e-WPIS). Key in the correct user name and password and click Log-in button or press Enter key.
3. After registration to the system, user will be directed to Log-in Page of Encoder and Editor.
4. For provincial users, the system has two modules; Encoder module and Editor Module. For regional users ,only administrator module can be accessed
5. Click on the Combo box and select the module to be accessed.
6. ENCODER MODULE – This module allows the user to add and view lists of wanted person. This module is composed of two (2) sub-modules: create warrant and search wanted person.
Select encoder from the module drop down.
Key in user name and password
Click Log-in User button
7. CREATE WARRANT – This is where the user encodes the information of warrant of arrest, wanted person and arrested person.
8. How to create a warrant?
On the encoder screen, Click on the create warrant option.
Create warrant screen will be shown.
9. Fill in the necessary data on warrant of arrest information, wanted person information and arrest information. For user is required to key in the information in uppercase letters, turn the Caps Lock on first by pressing the Caps Lock key on the keyboard, before encoding.
10. Warrant of Arrest Information :
** Select the issuing court.
** Select the warrant type.
** Select the law violated/ Crime Committed. Key in the specific crime and court branch
** Fill in the needed data on issue date, receved date, date served, criminal case number,recommended bail, status of warrant and city/municipal station for provincial office.
Wanted Person Information :
** Key in the information data of wanted person such a s last name, first name, middle name,qualifier, alias and address.
** Select the status of suspect
** Arrest Information
11. If the suspects’ status is arrested the arrest information details will automatically enable.
12. Fill in the needed records.
13. Click on the save button.
14. A message box will be shown to confirm the saved data, then click the “OK” button.
15. After saving the warrant another message will appear asking confirmation if encoder has a soft copy of warrant of arrest.
16. Click “OK” to upload warrant.
17. Upload warrant screen will be displayed.
18. Click “Cancel” to discard transaction.
19. If soft copy is available the user is required to upload it right after saving the warrant of arrest, because the encoder module does not allow user to directly upload scanned warrant. Direct uploading of scanned warrant is only allowed in the editor module.

How to add a softcopy of warrant of arrest? :
** Click on the browse button on upload warrant screen.
** A directory path will appear. Find the scanned warrant of arrest.
** Click on the upload warrant button to add warrant of arrest on the created warrant.
** A message will confirm if the scanned warrant is successfully uploaded. Click the “OK” button.
Note: Warrant of Arrest should be in JPEG format.

Message box will appear to ask the user to create a nother warrant of arrest. Click on the “OK” button to create new warrant or “ Cancel” to discard the request.

Note:
In creating warrant of arrest, fill in required information to avoid the following the error message displayed below. This is also the list of required fields.

Click on the listed error . This will direct user to the field of the required data that needs to be filled in.
Example: Click “Date of Arrest is required” link; user will be directed to the warrant of arrest date field.

Search Wanted Person :

This is where the user search for the details and status of wanted and arrested individual.
How to search wanted person? :
** Click on the Search Wanted Person option. The search wanted person page will be displayed.
** Fill in any of the three parameters that are used in searching the database.
** This can be done by entering the first name, last name or the alias.
** Click on the Search Database button.
** Search results will be displayed below.
** Navigate through search results by clicking on First, Previous, Next and Last button.
** Click Back to Home to go back to encoder main screen.
** Click View Warrant of Arrest option to view the scanned warrant.
** Scanned warrant of arrest will be displayed in a new tab.
• From this page click Back to Home to go back to encoder’s main page.
• Click Search Again to search for another wanted person
** Click Print warrant.
** The print window will appear.
** Click “OK” to continue printing.
** A directory path will appear.
** Key in the desired filename.
** Go to the desired location.
** Click Save warrant will now be printed.
• Click Cancel to discard transaction
Note:
If the encoded person is not in the database the following message will appear, “Sorry wanted person is not yet encoded in the database”
