How To Check DNEA Exam Result Online?

The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture has made good progress with the marking and processing of the examination data and will be able to officially release the provisional Grade 12 (NSSC) Higher Level for full-time and part-time candidates and Grade 10 (JSC) for part-time candidates on 20 December 2019.

Go to the official website,click on the result tab in home page.

Click on “DNEA Exam Results” link result page. then enter the following details to check the exam results,


1. Select Grade
2. Select Examination Session
3. Enter Student Number
4.Click on “View Result” tab and get your result displayed on the screen.

Note : Grade 12 student Number looks like this: 15OA999999 or A099999 Grade 10 student Number looks like this: 102W099999

How To Check DNEA Exam Result Via SMS?

Exam results for grade 10 and grade 12 may be obtained via SMS or web application service as indicated below :

SMS Service :
The following procedure should be followed when using the SMS services. Send a message which gives the name of the examination, e.g. JSC followed by the surname and first name of the candidate.

Example (a): JSC Kalomoh Fennie
Example (b): NSSCH Kaperu Theo

OR
Write your full examination number
Example (a): JSC 101E25002
Example (b): NSSCH 10HE250025

Send this information to any of the following numbers 2929, 99099 or 55755 and in response your surname, name and results will be displayed on the screen of your cell phone.

Directorate of National Examinations & Assessment

The main functions of the Directorate of National Examinations and Assessment (DNEA) are to provide a national assessment and certification service for the school system, to assist in enhancing the quality of education and with the monitoring of educational standards.

The main objectives are :
** To successfully administer the examination and certification functions of the national school examinations namely, the Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC), the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary Level (NSSCO) and the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Higher Level (NSSCH) examinations as well as the semi-external end of primary (Grade 7) examination.

** To continuously monitor and improve the security of examinations and the efficiency of regional examination offices, heads of examination centres and invigilators.

** To provide information and statistics for the monitoring of quality and standards in the education system.

** This website provides access to examination results, statistics and information about the national examinations for HIGCSE, IGCSE and JSC.

Functions of DNEA Namibia

To check your DNEA exam result via SMS, you can follow these steps:

1. Open your SMS app.
2. Type the following message:
<Exam Name> <Surname> <First Name>
For example, if you want to check your JSC results, you would type the following message:
JSC <Surname> <First Name>

3. Send the message to one of the following numbers:
** 2929
** 99099
** 55755

4. You will receive a reply with your exam results.

Here are some additional things to note:
** The exam name must be spelled correctly.
** The surname and first name must be entered in full.
** The SMS service is only available for grade 10 (JSC) and grade 12 (NSSC) exams.
** The SMS service is usually activated a few days after the results have been released.
