How To Apply Renewing An Endorsement?

To Apply Renewing An Endorsement, the procedure are given below,
To renew your endorsement, you must apply at a driver licensing agent.
You will need to:
Fill in an application form:
1. Application for D, F, R, T, W endorsement form (DL19) [PDF, 166 KB] or
2. Application to renew P, V, I, O endorsement form (DL20C) [PDF, 513 KB]
** Present evidence of your identity
** Provide a current medical certificate , if required
** Prove your eyesight meets the required standard

Provide a course certificate that is not more than 60 days old if renewing:
1. A D endorsement
2. P,V or I endorsements that have been expired for more than five years
** Let the agent take your photo and signature
** Pay the endorsement renewal application fees.

Processing Time

Your new endorsement will be valid for one or five years from the expiry date of your current endorsement.
If you renew your endorsement:
** more than 60 days before it is due to expire, the new endorsement will be valid for one or five years from the date we grant your application
** less than 60 days before it is due to expire, the new endorsement will be valid for one or five years from the expiry date of your current endorsement
** after it has expired, the new endorsement will be valid for one or five years from the date we grant your application.

Endorsements that expire with your driver licence

** Forklift (F), roller (R), tracks (T) and wheels (W) endorsements expire at the same time as your driver licence, and are automatically renewed when you renew your driver licence.
** This means you don’t have to make a separate application or pay a separate fee to renew them – provided they’ve not been expired for more than five years.
** Expiry dates for other driver licence endorsements differ as detailed below.

When to renew your P, V, I and O endorsements

** You need to apply to renew these endorsements at least 30 working days before they expire.
** We’ll send you a reminder about six weeks before your endorsement is due to expire.
** If you’ve recently changed your address, you can update it with us online.
