YES :
YES is a Government of Ghana programme initiated by President John Dramani Mahama with a ten million Ghana cedis (GH¢10,000,000) seed fund to assist young Ghanaians with creative and innovative business ideas and plans to achieve their full potential.

Who Can Apply / Eligibility Criteria :
To be eligible for consideration of your business plan, the following criteria must be satisfied :
** You must be a Ghanaian citizen (show proof) and no more than 35 years old;
** You must have completed at least Junior High School (JHS);
** Your business plan/idea must create at least five (5) job opportunities and have a high potential for growth and job creation;
** The proposed business must be situated within the national borders of Ghana and must employ Ghanaians;
** The proposed business must not involve gambling or the production or distribution of any alcoholic beverage, tobacco or weapon. It must not involve any activity that is illegal under the laws of Ghana;
** You must be prepared and available to explain and defend your business plan/idea and provide consent for the possible filming of the process;
** You must present two letters of recommendation or reference (YES reserves the right to carry out further background checks on you).

Download the application form, print, complete, scan and attach all other required documents and do one of the following :

2. Hand deliver to the YES Secretariat, Plot No. 7, Research Road, South Legon, Accra; or
3. Post to : YES Secretariat, P. O. Box 1627, Accra- Ghana.
The Selection Process :
Apply :
Dates for the submission of Business Proposals/Plan are set and announced by the YES Secretariat. Proposals can be submitted via email, postage, an online form and by sending it to the YES Secretariat.
Shortlist :
A team of YES Business Consultants short-lists the Business Proposals/Plans received. Owners of the selected Business Proposals/Plans [Stage 1] for the next stage will be announced.
Training :
An Entrepreneurship Business Clinic will be held for all selected Business Proposal/Plan owners [Stage 1]. This Clinic will focus on helping the entrants to streamline their Business Proposals/Plans.
Apply :
After the Clinic, the selected Business Owners [Stage 1] will be required to revise and re-submit their Business Proposals/Plans.
Presentation :
The selected Business Owners will be invited to a Personal Presentation Session (PPS).
Award :
YES Beneficiaries will be announced after the PPS.
