Eligibility Criteria

** Educational stipends are awarded to students currently enrolled in GRADUATION AND MASTER LEVEL Programme. Student must be enrolled in Pakistani Universities.

** To be eligible, you must have secured at least 60% marks at all levels. Stipend amount depends upon marks %, course type and other factors, from 6000 to 17000 annually.

How to Apply For Diya Scholarship?

Step 1 : Visit the official website of Diya Pakistan through the URL https://diyapak.org/

Step 2 : Then click on the scholarship section in the ‘What We Do’ Menu.

Step 3 : After that, Click Scholarship Application Form link in the Main page.

Step 4 : Enter your CNIC, Retype your CNIC and Click Submit button

Procedure For Receiving Educational Stipends

** All applicants currently enrolled in Graduation and Master Level are required to submit Application Form and send scanned documents from ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS (in JPG Format) via email address – apply [AT] diyapak.org.

You must mention Case No.(which you will see after Form submission) and NIC No. in email so that we can combine in our computerized system.

** For continuing students, download Renewal Form and submit with scanned documents (from ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS) via email to apply AT diyapak.org In all emails you must enter your NIC number or Case Number in email subject.

** The submitted application and scanned documents will be reviewed by Diya’s approval team. You can check the Status of your application at official website after every 10-15 days.

** If any clarification / document required by us you will see on Status, send scan of document through email.
** This is very important to provide true information in your application form so that no clarification required and case processed quickly.

** If your documents are complete in all respects, a stipend cheque shall be issued in your Name with NIC via registered post at your present address. Complete process may take one or two months depending upon your response.

What percentage marks do I need to obtain to be eligible for DIYA scholarship?
A minimum of 60% marks in previous examinations are required from all applicants.

What are the amounts that I will receive after being awarded scholarship ?
“The amounts are calculated based on the average percentage marks obtained in previous examination of the applicant, and it varies from school level to university level students.”

I am not part of Diya’s approved list of institutions, am I still eligible fro being awarded a scholarship ?
Yes, students may apply directly to Diya for scholarships.

How can my institution be added to DIYA’s list of approved institutions ?
Institutions requesting acknowledgement in Diya’s panel get approval after some necessary verifications. Inclusion of Government institute to Diya’s network does not require any approval while private institute requires approval by the President. Entire listing process is done in a transparent manner.

What information should be included in stipend form at school level application
“The application form shall contain the following information ?
** Name, roll number, class, and gender of the deserving student;
** Previous academic performance (grade/percentage/position in the class)
** Whether the family is eligible for zakat disbursement
** Total family members
** Details of the head of the family (relationship with applicant, qualification, occupation, monthly income, and whether he or she owns a house).”

What is the process for selection of students from DIYA approved schools ?
Scholarships are awarded annually to talented students on recommendation of the school selection committee. Applications are assessed by the School level Application review committee at the RWP office followed by the approval of the scholarship if the applicant meets the eligibility criteria.

What is the process for awarding scholarship to students from non DIYA approved schools ?
The management send individual application form to the applicant/student with a list of required documents which include photocopies of Form-B of the applicant, Guardian’s CNIC copies, and result card of previous examination. if applicant meets the minimum eligibility criteria, and Diya has the funding available, the manager operation recommends these applications to President and Vice president for final approval.

I have been receiving stipend at school level, will DIYA continue to support me to high school/university level?
Yes. The renewal application process requires the students to submit a renewal form which is available at website.

What is the process for awarding scholarship to students for university education ?
The university students can apply through submitting an online application form available at Diya’s website. The applicant must submit the scan copies of all required documents mentioned in the Appendix E of the application form. Upon receipt of the online application, the management verifies the necessary details and forward it to the vice president for final approval.

    I applied for Diya scholarship .I sent my documents file to that perticular email which was given to me at Diya Check Status Site.I'm much worried because I didn't get any verification or confirmation towards you. I want to continue my study and only a sound scholarship is the source with the help of which I'll be able to continue my further studies.I belong to very poor family even that I have to pay half fee of my last semester.Kindly provide me this opportunity so that I may able to conyinue my studies.
