Change Of Address Service :

The Change of Address Service is to provide a ONE-STOP online service for you to submit change-of-address notices to various government departments and non-governmental organisations.

The corresponding terms and conditions from the departments / organisations apply. Please refer to the official websites of relevant departments and organisations for further information.

How to Use :
Step 1 : Select Type of Address
(a)Select your Type of Application (either Personal or Company/Organisation)
(b)Select your type(s) of address(es) to be changed.

(c)Select your Address Location Type(s) for your new address(es).
(d)Click “Continue” to go to the next step or “Clear” to clear the data input.

Step 2 : Select Service(s) to Notify
(a)You may select the services you want to notify from the “Services by Popularity” list and the “Services by Organisation” list. For services not available for notification, please refer to the “Services Not Available” list.”

(b)Check the checkbox of service you want to notify.
(c)Click “Continue” to go to the next step.

Step 3 : Enter Authentication Details (If required)
(a)If services require user authentication by digital certificate are selected, you will be required to provide a digital certificate for user authentication.

(a1)Input details of your digital certificate.
(a2)Click “Continue” to go to next step.

(b)If only IRD eTAX is chosen among other services which do not require user authentication, you will be required to provide either a digital certificate or Taxpayer Identification No. (TIN) and eTAX Password.

(b1)Select Authentication Means.
(b2)Click “Continue”.

(b3)Input details for the selected Authentication Means.
(b4)Click “Continue” to go to next step.

Step 4 : Enter Personal / Company Details
(a)Input personal information.
(b)Input contact information.
(c)Input old residential address (if required).

(d)Input new residential/business address.
(e)Click “Clear” to clear the data input; or “Save Quit” to save the draft application and exit.
(f)Click “Continue” to go to the next step;

Step 5 : Enter Specific Information
(a)Input specific information required by the selected service(s).
(b)Click “Continue” to go to the next step; or “Save Quit” to save the draft application and exit.

Step 6 : Confirm Input
(a)Review the data input.
(b)Click “Save Quit” to save the draft application and exit.
(c)Click “Confirm Submit” to submit your application.

Step 7 : Receive Acknowledgement
(a)A Reference Number for your application is generated. Please keep this Reference Number for future reference.

(b)Click “Print” to print the acknowledgement.
(c)Click “Save” to save a copy of your application to your PC/notebook.

Q1. How can I benefit from the Change of Address service if I make a home or office move?
** With this online service, you can change your address records with various government departments and non-governmental organisations in one go by entering your personal or company / organisation details just once.

** You can further select multiple services / applicable users or areas provided by various organisations (Please refer to Q2) for your application to take effect on.

Q2. What information is required for my Change of Address application?
For individuals, you have to provide your HKID card or passport number except that your application is only intended for the following services :
** Change of Address for Fire Safety Ambassadors (Fire Services Department)
** Friends of the Observatory (Hong Kong Observatory)
** “I Pledge” Campaign (Intellectual Property Department)

** For companies/organisations, you need to provide your Business Registration Number.
** Your contact information and other information specified by individual department(s) or organisation(s) must also be provided to facilitate your application.
