Spring Glory courtyard tour :
** See a different side of ‘the people’s house’ on a tour of the stunning private gardens led by one of our friendly guides.

** This is a rare opportunity to see the glorious gardens that are lovingly tended by the Parliament House landscape team, and an opportunity to hear fascinating anecdotes about the gardens that have been the backdrop to some of Australia’s most historic moments.

** Beautifully calm and simple, these private gardens are sure to delight! The courtyard tour covers a walking distance of about two kilometres.
** We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

Dates: Saturdays: 10 September to 15 October
Sundays: 11 September to 16 October
Weekdays: 16 September, 19 September – 7 October, 14 October
Times: 10.00 am, 12.00 pm, 3.00 pm

Meet the Gardener tour :
** Parliament House Landscape Services gardeners will lead this special in-depth behind-the-scenes tour through the private gardens and courtyards of Parliament House.
** Our gardeners will show you how they manage the intricate systems and techniques they use that keep the gardens looking their best all year round.

** The tour is also an unique opportunity to ask all of your gardening questions and get a few tips from the experts.
** The tour will finish with tea in the Queen’s Terrace café.
** The Meet the Gardener Tour covers a walking distance of about two kilometres.
** We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

Dates: Sunday 18 September and Sunday 2 October
Times: 10.30 am and 1.30 pm

Spring Glory high tea :
** Celebrate spring by treating yourself to high tea under the blossoms in one of the charming private gardens of Parliament House.

** You will enjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival and please your palate with delightful treats prepared by our chefs, including savoury items like barbecue siu pork served with daikon in a charcoal mini brioche and sweets like s’mores crunchy chocolate mousse with marshmallows.

Length and Breadth: new acquisitions from the Parliament House Art Collection :
** From Flinders Ranges to Darling Downs, Bathurst Harbour to Broken Hill, this exhibition features a selection of contemporary Australian artworks acquired by Parliament House since 2013.
** It focuses on images of landscape, both real and imagined, from across the vast Australian continent and created over the last three decades.

Dates: 22 September -13 November
