**  Students are required obtain an offer letter from the college or university before submitting the online Student Visa application.
**  Please make sure that the form is filled according to the details available in the offer letter from your college or university.
**  Please note that the application fee can change depending on your selections in the form below. All prices are inclusive of 6% GST where applicable.
**  Please note that payment should be made through the Educational institution. Kindly contact your institution to submit payment for your Student Visa application

How to apply for Student Pass through EMGS website :
Students who have received offer letters from Public Universities (Universiti Awam) and Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS) will have the option to apply for their student pass directly through the Education Malaysia website ( educationmalaysia.gov.my/index.php/student-pass-application.html ) The application can also be done through the institution as per the current process.

What happens next?
** Once you create your student pass application, EMGS will notify your institution that you have submitted the information through the website.

** Your institution will then be required to submit the student pass application documents to the EMGS One-Stop-Centre. The payment for the application should also be made by this time.

** Once your institution has submitted the documents to EMGS, you can use the application tracker on our website or through the EMGS Mobile App to keep track of the application status.

** Once your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) has been issued by the Department of Immigration, the next step is to plan your travel to Malaysia.
**  Students from non-visa required countries can proceed to enter Malaysia by producing the ‘Visa Approval Letter’ (VAL) upon arrival.

**  Students from visa required countries without a Malaysia Representative Office are permitted to enter without a visa. Students must present the ‘Visa Approval Letter’ (VAL) upon entry.

**  Students from visa required countries which have a Malaysia Representative Office must obtain visa prior to their entry into Malaysia. Students must also obtain the ‘Visa Approval Letter’ (VAL) before entering Malaysia.

** Please ensure that you check with the Malaysian Embassy or High Commission that deals with your particular country before finalizing your travel plans.

** EMGS advises you must ensure you have sufficient time to process the Student Pass and recommends you apply for a visa before leaving your home country, for a minimum of 30 days to ensure you have as much time as possible to process your Student Pass and complete your medical screening on arrival. Check the Department of Immigration for the latest visa requirements.
