Trace Mobile Rage 2015 Competition:
** The promoter of this competition is TRACE Mobile a subsidiary of TRACE TV (Pty) Limited, registration number 2012/090777/07 (“TRACE”), and is open to all customers on the TRACE Mobile tariff plan by sending an SMS during the Promotion period.
** All persons entering the TRACE MOBILE RAGE 2015 “Competition” (“the promotional competition”) (“the entrants”) agree that they are bound by the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions.
** The entrant’s attention is drawn to these terms and conditions because they are important and should be carefully noted.
** For the purposes of this promotional competition, an entrant is any natural person.
** Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or neglect any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the entrant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”).
** The entrant acknowledges that by submitting his or her entry to the competition he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to read these terms and conditions before entering and that he/she understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.
** All entrants in this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the promoters and TRACE and all entities TRACE group, their directors, employees and agents, of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.
Rules Of The Competition:
** This promotional competition is valid from 00:00:00 on 5 October 2015 to 23:59:59 on 2 November 2015 (“the promotional period”)
** The prize: WIN one of six trips for two to the RAGE Festival 2015!
** Entrants are required to SMS “RAGE and their name” to 48436 to enter. SMS cost R1.50. (Network rates apply. Free SMSs do not apply.)
** Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
In order to qualify as an entrant for this promotional competition:
** the entrant must live in the Republic of South Africa;
** the entrant must provide correct and full personal details, as required;
** the entrant must be 18 (eighteen) years or older.
** any entrant not 18 years old at the time of draw will automatically forfeit the prize. Proof of identification will be required before the prize is issued; and
** the entrant cannot be a juristic entity and must be an individual.
** The competition is open to all registered TRACE Mobile customers. For the avoidance of doubt; Only Cell C customers that have migrated to the TRACE Mobile tariff plan and customers who have directly purchased and activated a TRACE Mobile starter pack will be allowed to win a prize.
** The promoters, TRACE Mobile, any entity in the TRACE Group or Company, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants, the suppliers of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the above named parties and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this promotional competition.
** The entrant must be a TRACE Mobile customer.
** The entrant may enter the promotional competition as many times as they wish, by sending an SMS to 48436. (Network rates apply. Free SMSs do not apply).
** The winner cannot win more than one trip.
** One SMS equals one entry into the draw.
** The entrant must purchase a qualifying product that has been advertised in any of our Low Price Carnival weekly supplements and enter during the week of the validity date printed on the supplement.
Rage Festival 2015 Package – Dates: 26 November – 5 December 2015:
** Prize dates and flights are fixed and cannot be changed to accommodate any other transfers, adjoining trips or trip extensions.
Package Includes:
** 2 Black Passport tickets valued at R3450 each
** Return domestic flights for the winner and partner residing outside of Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal
** R5000 Accommodation Voucher, to be used as either f payment depending on the winners. choice of accommodation.
Package Excludes:
** Transfers of any nature
** Meals and beverages
** Any items of a personal nature
** Any items not mentioned above.
Important Information:
** Please be at the airport at least one hour before your domestic departures.
** Please also reconfirm ALL of your flights 72 hours before departure between 09h:00 and 17:00 with our office or directly with the airline.
** Please ensure that you check in on time before departure.
Selection of Winners:
** Winners will be selected two working days after the end date of the promotional competition. All winners are to be selected by 5 November 2015.
** Winners will be selected through a random draw.
** Winners will be contacted telephonically, using the mobile number used to enter the competition from 3 November 2015. If winners cannot be contacted within 2 (two) attempts within 3 (three) hours on the date of draw, they will forfeit their prize and an alternative winner will be selected.
** TRACE Mobile reserves the right to disqualify a winner if he/she does not respond to the telephone call within 2 (two) attempts within 3 (three) hours of winner selection, and randomly select a replacement winner from the competition entries. In such circumstances, the replacement winner shall be contacted telephonically by TRACE Mobile as soon as reasonably possible and shall be required to respond to TRACE Mobile in the manner set out in such correspondence. In the event that the replacement winner fails to respond to TRACE Mobile as required, the provisions of this clause shall apply to that new winner in the same way as if he/she were the original winner. If the selected winner does not have any contact details, a redraw will take place immediately.
** TRACE Mobile reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and to terminate the Competition at any time. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the Competition, and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against TRACE Mobile, its advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents.
General:
** By entering the competition in accordance with its terms, you are entering a promotional competition for the purposes of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (“CPA”) and the promotional competition will be conducted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the CPA. Should you win a prize in the competition, you undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the promoter/sponsor to comply with its obligations under the CPA including, but not limited to (i) providing such personal information as may be required in order to facilitate handing over the prize (including providing proof of address and identity number) and (ii) signing receipt of the prize upon its delivery.
** The names of the prize winners will be published on the TRACE Mobile website subject to the winners consent.
** Winners may be requested to take part in the promoter’s publicity campaigns or to allow their names and likenesses to be used by the promoter for promotional purposes. Winners are, however, entitled to decline such a request.
** The promoters shall conduct the competition, and the promoters’ decision on any matter related to the competition, including the selection of prize winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
