On-the-spot Poster Making Contest 2015
1. The contest is free and is open to all Grade 4-11 students of public and private elementary schools in Metro Manila.
2. The categories shall be:
a. Division 1 (Grades 4-6)
b. Division 2 (Grades 7-11)
3. Only one representative per school is allowed to join.
4. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. No more than fifteen (15) registered contestants will be accepted per category.
5. Interested students must submit the following:
a. Accomplished Registration Form Kindly find the registration form attached.
b. Letter of Endorsement from School
c. Letter of Parental Consent
6. Registration period starts on September 21 to October 9, 2015. Send your requirements to greenactionph@gmail.com. Only applications with complete requirements will be reserved a slot in the competition.
7. Registration forms will be made available at the IBON website https://www.ibon.org/
8. On competition day, contestants will bring their own art materials. Organizers shall provide them with ½ illustration board. The actual theme of the poster-making will be announced during the competition day.
9. Winners will be announced the same day. Cash prizes, medals and certificates will be given to individual winners, while plaque will be given to the winning school.
10. Students who bear relation to IBON staff up to the third degree are not qualified to participate to the contest.
11. All contestants shall abide by the Terms and Conditions indicated in the Registration Form.
Criteria for Judging:
Relevance to theme – 60%
Mastery of medium – 25%
Originality/Creativity – 15%
Total – 100%
Panel of Judges:
The panel of judges will include distinguished personalities in the visual arts.
Prizes:
1st place : P10,000 cash prize, gold medal and plaque for school, plus certificates
2nd place: P 5,000 cash prize, silver medal and plaque for school, plus certificates
3rd place : P 3,000 cash prize, bronze medal and plaque for school, plus certificates
Winning entries of which will be included in subsequent rounds of exhibits and exchanges in this continuing campaign.
