As a result of the number of manufacturers involved in the recalls, there is a global shortage of replacement parts. This will cause a delay in completing these recalls. We are working with our parent company, Honda Motor Co. Ltd., to ensure parts are secured as soon as possible.

Honda Australia takes any matter of safety extremely seriously. Our priority throughout the recall process is to ensure that you, our customer, has access to important information. As part of our recall process, Honda Australia notifies registered owners of affected vehicles by mail. We will also update this website as information becomes available.

In Australia, a number of Honda models have been recalled for front driver and front passenger airbag inflators manufactured by Takata Corporation. Below is a table that lists affected models and the reason for the recall.
