How To Apply :
Step 1 : Register with e-Darussalam
** Go to the e-Darussalam website
** Click on Register e-Darussalam.
** online.png Fill in online form.

Step 2 : Activate e-Darussalam Account
** After successfully registering your e-Darussalam account, applicants are required to go to the Online Service Counter at your nearest LTD branch to activate your account.

** You are required to bring along your Smart Identification Card for verification purposes.
** Once the account has been activated, an email containing the password will be sent. It is advisable to change the password that has been provided.

Step 3 : Choose the LTD service that is required
** Go to the e-Darussalam website gov.bn
** Choose the LTD service required under ‘Transport’ (Pengangkutan). Click Renewal of Driving Licence or Renewal of Vehicle Licence (Road Tax).

** Click Log In. Enter your Smart Identification Card number and your password.
** Fill in the online form for Renewal of Driving Licence or Renewal of Vehicle Licence.
** Please take note of your application reference number.

Note : If this is your first time applying online, you will be required to update and confirm your user information. Once completed, click again on the desired e-service and fill in the online form.

Step 4 : Payment
Credit, Debit or Cash Card Payment :
** After successful payment has been made, an e-mail containing details of the collection place will be sent. Please refer to Step 5.

Cash Payment :
** You are advised to make payment at the Online Service Counter at your nearest LTD branch.
** If no payment has been made within two (2) weeks from the date of application, the application will be cancelled.

Step 5 : Collection
Applicants can choose to collect their renewed Driving Licence and/or Vehicle Licence at the Online Service Counter at your preferred LTD branch or have the Driving Licence and/or Vehicle Licence sent by post.

For collection at LTD Online Service Counters :
** Please take note that collection of Driving Licence and/or Vehicle Licence at LTD Online Service Counter will take three (3) working days.

Delivery by Post :
** Additional $3.00 payment will be charged for Express Post Service.
** The delivery will take three (3) working days.
** Applicants can visit any LTD branches during working hours to update their Vehicle Registration Book.

First Time Renewal :
Instructions are as follows :
1. Register your account at e-Darussalam.
2. Fill in the required details.
3. After completion, check e-mail and proceed following next instructions.

Lost Or Damaged Driving Licence :
Steps to be taken :
** Make a police report (for lost driving license only).
** Go to any of the JPD branch by bringing the police report (for lost driving license only or driver’s license that is damaged).
** Fill in the application form and bring it to the Licensing Officer.
** After a permit given, go to the counter and make a renewal Driving Licence fee of $10.00 for a copy of the licence.

Change On Personal Details :
** If customers made any changes on their personal details such as marriage status, address or smart card number, the customer should inform the JPD about these changes within one month from the date of change.
** If the change occurs when you’re outside of Brunei Darussalam, you must notify the JPD WITHIN ONE MONTH you return to Brunei Darussalam.
