The Road Transport Department (RTD), following its continuous efforts for upgrading and improving communication with the public, introduces a system of direct briefing via Short Message Service (SMS) for mobile phones.

If you wish to participate in this program, you are kindly advised to fill up the details listed below.
** The details will be used for your continuous briefing in various matters concerning vehicles and road safety such as
** A reminder for the date of expiry of a vehicle road worthiness test (MOT)
** The renewal of road tax

** The date of cancellation of the registration of a vehicle for any reason
** A reminder to a candidate driver of theoretical and practical test date and
** time for a driving license

Who can be registered and facilitated by the electronic transactions of TOM?
** Individuals

** MOT Centres

How I can use the electronic services of TOM?
** For information purposes the user (citizen) has to apply for a new account electronically.
** The user submits his e-mail address and the system returns a code that is necessary for the user to complete his registration.

** Companies, importers of vehicles and MOT centres should submit application via the electronic service in order to register.
** The application will be examined by the RTD and a code will be dispatched to them.

About Us :
The Department of Road Transport was established in 1975. The Department΄s main responsibilities are separated into two broad sectors. The fist sector includes the study of the problems in public transport, aiming at improving the services offered to the public.

The second sector includes all those activities relating to vehivles, that is, their registration, their inpection for registration and the issue and renewal of driving licenses and circulation fees.
