Activating contactless payments
** Once you’ve received your contactless card, activate it in the Internet Bank. Make sure that the ‘Allow contactless payments’ box is checked.

** The contactless payment option is activated the first time you slot your card into a payment terminal or ATM when performing a transaction and you confirm it with your PIN.

** You can then use the contactless option from the next transaction onwards.

** Should you wish to, you can easily switch the contactless feature on or off again in the Internet Bank or Mobile Bank. This comes into effect the next time you slot your card into a payment terminal or ATM when performing a transaction and you confirm it with your PIN.

How to use :
Paying with a contactless card
** The new contactless card enables you to make purchases to a value of up to €10 without having to slot your card into the payment terminal or enter your PIN.

You only need to tap the card against the marked contactless payment terminal and voila, you’re done! This way your everyday purchases will be even quicker and more convenient.

** If your total comes to more than €10, follow the instructions on the screen of payment terminal and enter your PIN.
** If the contactless payment doesn’t work, simply slot your card into the payment terminal and enter your PIN.

** Since the amount you can spend in a single contactless payment can vary from country to country, we recommend that you check out the terms and conditions of such payments in the country you’re going to before you leave.

Security :
Contactless payments are secure
** To make a payment you need to hold your card very close to the terminal until you hear the beep.
** Before doing so, make sure the amount you’re paying is correct.

** Random checks mean that from time to time some smaller purchases will still need to be confirmed using your PIN.

** Don’t let the person serving you take your card.
** If you lose your card or someone steals it, block it straight away in the Mobile Bank or call us on 6 310 310.
