Cancellation Certificate Procedure :

Cancellation certificate is a registration document issued to register the termination of ID card in case of death of any citizen. Any blood relative possessing a valid NIC/NICOP, death certificate from union council and the graveyard certificate of the deceased family member, can apply for the cancellation.

The original ID card of the deceased is destroyed at NRC to ensure that it cannot be misused. The applicant is required to visit any NADRAƂ Registration Center (NRC) to apply for cancellation certificate.

Where can I apply for Cancellation certificate?
You can apply for your cancellation certificate by visiting NADRA Registration Center (NRC).

Following are the steps which you will be following at the NRC :
** You will be issued a token
** Your photograph will be captured

** Your fingerprints and signature will be taken
** Your required data entry will be done and form will be printed to be reviewed by yourself
** You will be handed over a printed version of your application form
Please submit the form to the concerned NRC after you have gotten it attested by gazette officer.

How long will it take from application completion to delivery?
Normally it will be delivered in real time in case of applying through NRC.

Requirements & Eligibility :
** The selection criteria below will help you identify your required card/certificate as per your eligibility.
** Once you have selected your requirements, list of documents and other information required as per policy will be generated for swift processing.

What is your required identity type?
Card :
** In case you are looking for your National Identity Card, please select the card option.

Certificate :
** If you need a Certificate for Child Registration, Family registration by birth, marriage and adoption or Identity Card Cancellation, please select this option.

Which application category you want to apply?
New (First Time application) :
** Select this option if you are applying for your National Identity Card for the first time

Modification (Change in existing data) :
** In case you want to change any of your existing National Identity Card data, you may select this option.

Reprint (Lost/Damaged) :
** If your National Identity card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, you may select this option.

Renewal (Card is expired) :
** Select this option in case your card is expired or is about to expire.

Family Registration Certificate (FRC) :
** Family registration certificate is a means of being identified with your family as per NADRA record. This provides the family composition. Read more

Child Registration Certificate (CRC) :
** Child Registration Certificates is a registration document used to register minors under the age of 18 years. CRC is also known as B-form. CRC can only be applied within Pakistan. Read more

Cancellation Certificate :
** Cancellation certificate is a registration document issued to register the termination of card in case of death of any citizen.

Any blood relation along with their National Identity Card (NIC)/National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), death certificate from union council and the graveyard certificate of the deceased family member can apply for the cancellation.
