** The official visa / resident permit application form.
** Passport copy of visiting person valid for more than 6 months.
** Copy of guarantor’s identity card, and all documents attached should be signed by the guarantor and stamped by the company stamp.
** Copy of the agent’s card or CPR of the applicant.
** Copy of a valid C.R.

Additional Documents Required for Visa :
General Visitors :
** Letter from employer or guarantor explaining the reason for visit.
Business Visa :
** Letter from employer or guarantor explaining the reason for visit.
** Proof of the visitor’s profession.

Visa for Bahraini children :
** Copy of birth certificate of the children.
** Copy of mother’s and father’s passports.
** A certified no objection letter from the father.

Visa for Bahraini spouse :
** Original passport of the spouse and a copy of it.
** Original marriage certificate issued by a Bahraini Court and a copy of it.

Work Visa for domestic worker :
** Work permit issued by the Ministry of Labour.
Visa Extension :
** Original passport of the applicant.

Additional Documents Required for Residence Permit :
New Issue or renewal for domestic worker
** Work permit issued by the Ministry of Labour.
** Medical examination report.
** Original passport of applicant.

Renewal of work resident permit :
** Copy of work permit issued by LMRA.
** Original passport of the applicant.
New issue or renewal of a student’s residence permit :
** Letter from university certifying the student’s enrollment.
** Original passport of the applicant.

New Issue or renewal of residence permit for Bahraini spouse :
** Original marriage certificate issued by a Bahraini Court and a copy of it.
** Original passport of spouse and a copy of it.
Work permit cancellation :
** Work permit cancellation issued by LMRA.
** Original passport of the applicant.

Terms and Conditions :
** The NPRA shall hold all information provided confidential.
** The representative of the employer or guarantor shall act within the limits of the authorization.
** The application shall be rejected :
1.If the data and documents provided is incorrect.
2.If it does not meet the conditions required for visa or residence permit.

** The NPRA reserves the right to approve a request or reject it.
** The visitor or resident is not permitted to stay in the Kingdom after the expiry of visa or residence permit.
** Visitor must be able to support himself ( and any dependents ) during the visit.

** Visitor is not allowed to take up any employment.
** Visitor shall hold a valid passport and return ticket.
** Holding a visa does not guarantee entry to the Kingdom of Bahrain unless it meets all conditions and the holder has required documents on arrival to be granted entry, at the discretion of the Passport Officer at the port.

** The application is subject to Laws and Regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the penalties for irregularities described in Penal Code and particular laws in this regard. The NPRA has the right to order the repatriation of any expat at any time, on violation of laws, and regulations by the expat or the employer or the guarantor.
** The visitor must provide the address of his residence in the Kingdom.
