How To Apply For OVAP Voucher Online?

The Fund for Assistance to Private Education, or FAPE, was created on November 5, 1968 by Executive Order No. 156, in implementation of the project agreement between the Philippine and United States governments to establish a permanent trust fund that would address the needs of the private education sector in the country.

Who are eligible?:
** Students finishing Grade 10 by March are eligible to be part of the Senior High School Voucher Program.
** If a student finishes in a public school, he/she is automatically a Voucher Program Beneficiary.

** The same is true for Grade 10 students in private schools who are part of the Education Service Contracting (ESC) program of the Department of Education.
** To know whether or not you are part of these pre-qualified beneficiaries, please see your school Principal or Registrar.

** Students who are not pre-qualified as beneficiaries need to undergo an application and screening process.

Documents Required For OVAP Voucher Application

1.Student accesses Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) https://deped.gov.ph/
2.Student prepares the supporting documents in soft copy

List of Documents to be attached:
** 2 copies recent identical 2×2 ID Photo
** Certification of Financial Assistance (if applicable) Download Template
** Philippine Statistics Authority Certified Birth Certificate
** Photocopy of Latest Grade 10 report card
** Certificate of Employment (if parent/guardian is employed)
** Latest Income Tax Return of Parents/Legal Guardian or Certification of Tax Exemption or Municipal Certification of Unemployment

3.Click Apply Now
4.If applicable, student encodes financial assistance received in Junior High School (JHS)
5.Download and print a copy of the Online Voucher Application Confirmation Slip (OVACS)

6.Results will be released on May, Applicant should visit the OVAP website to check the status of application
7.If application is successful, student is required to download and print the QVR Certificate in the OVAP

8.A successful applicant is required to submit the QVR Certificate when enrolling in a Non-DepEd SHS Provider

Announcement of Results

** The PEAC shall evaluate all of the submitted applications based on the submitted VAF-1 and supporting documents. Results of the voucher applications shall be posted by the PEAC in the OVAP website on the May .

** Qualified applicants are required to attend the registration program which shall be conducted and scheduled by the PEAC NS at selected areas in the regions.

** Failure to attend the scheduled registration shall result in disqualification from participation in the SHS VP. Details on the registration schedule shall be announced with the release of voucher application results.

FAQ On Enrol

Is it possible to enrol in a school that is different from what I declared in the voucher application?
Yes. The student is free to enrol in any school that he or she chooses. The voucher may be used in any private Senior High School provider or State/Local Universities and Colleges.

Is it possible to enrol in a track and strand that is different from what I declared in the voucher application?
Yes. The student is not limited by what he or she declared in the application. Be guided, however, by the terms and conditions for all voucher beneficiaries. That information is in DepEd Order No. 46, s. 2015. Check ovap.deped.gov.ph for more information.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Here are the steps on how to apply for OVAP Online Voucher online:
1. Go to the OVAP website: https://ovap.peac.org.ph/.
2. Click on the “Create Account” button.
3. Enter your email address and password.
4. Click on the “Create Account” button.
5. You will receive an email from OVAP with a confirmation link.
6. Click on the confirmation link to activate your account.
7. Once your account is activated, you can log in to the OVAP website.
8. Click on the “Apply for Voucher” button.
9. Fill out the application form.
10. Attach the required documents.
11. Click on the “Submit” button.

The OVAP staff will review your application. If your application is approved, you will be issued an OVAP voucher. You can then use the voucher to enroll in a participating senior high school.

Here are the required documents for the OVAP Online Voucher application:
** Annex 1: Affidavit of Family’s Financial Income: This document must be signed and notarized by the applicant’s parents or guardians.
** Annex 2: Parents/Guardian’s Consent Form: This document must be signed and notarized by the applicant’s parents or guardians.
** Annex 3: Certificate of Financial Assistance (Applicable ONLY to Voucher Applicants who received financial assistance from their Junior High School): This document must be issued by the applicant’s junior high school.
** Certificate of Rating or Certificate of Completion for Category E applicants; and Certificate of Rating for Category F applicants: This document must be issued by the applicant’s junior high school.

  1. I cannot register my senior high school student for voucher program. I tried all the sites indicated in the procedure but still I cannot register.

  2. Can I now apply for the voucher? My daughter is now in grade 10.

  3. I want to see my result for exam of grade 10th.
