How To Cancel Edgars Order?

If you decide you want to cancel your order, then you must call the Edgars Customer Service Centre on 0800 203 925 as quickly as possible! We start processing your order as soon as you click “Place Order.”

During processing, it may be possible to cancel your order, but once it moves to the shipping process, and if it has already been dispatched, it cannot be canceled. The Customer Agent will check the processing status of your order, and advise the steps towards cancellation.

  17. I am disgusted and disappointed at edcon and their staff who are promoting “financial products” insurances. They deceive people into signing up. I will not pay for the extra r200 charged on my account because of two edcon employees Khabonina jet palm springs and Thabang edgars evaton mall who did the same thing. He told me that he was counseling the policies. I had on my account while he added his own! When I was trying to read he distracted me and told it just for cancellation. Can you please look into this and reverse the fees?

    On 03-08-2016 I paid my account in Edgar’s store an amount of R205. I was surprised to receive a SMS saying my account overdue. Received a sms on 16-09-2016 which said I must pay R647.37.

  21. On 29-06-2016 I paid my account through EFT an amount of R668.02. I was surprised to receive an SMS saying my account is overdue and I went to Edgars at Dundee for clarity where I showed them the bank statement where it showed that the payment was made ref 36829562,during July I went back to the branch in Dundee and they said the problem was solved what is surprising me is that I received an SMS today,16-08-2016 which says I must pay R1346.43. Can you please rectify your mistakes by sorting this out permanently?

    1. I added insurance on my account Also. My original payment was R150 pm but on second month I was told its R300 and in 3rd month I was told its R600 and I stopped paying it. So edgars is ripping people off and they suspended my account without my knowledge. I already paid R2000. I will go to hello peter because they will never solve this.

    1. Hi Jessica,sorry to hear that. I’m experiencing something similar. A R3.00 is being added to my current balance on a daily basis. I check my balance constantly via OTA. Last month I owed them R4999,today 18/5/2016 I suddenly owe them R5108,due to that R3.00 issue. They are so useless over the phone. Try and get a statement over the counter showing every date you suspect of fraud. I feel your pain and hope you resolve it soon.

  41. I am very frustrated. On July 1 2015, I spoke to Busisiwe who says she was from EDCON. I asked her to e-mail my jet account (ACC NR 7006600100002656066)(clivebrhms17[AT]gmail.com) so that I could show my proof of address to FNB employee. I had lost my card, and needed a temporary card. She replied that would ask her supervisor to e-mail my account within the hour. That conversation was recorded . Today is July 10 2015 and I am still waiting for that e-mail. Does it take almost 10 days to send an e-mail? I do understand that it could have slipped her mind,but not having that proof of address meant no paying of accounts,buying food etc.
