How To Get Birth Certificate From NSO?

To Get Birth Certificate From NSO, Follow the below steps

Step 1 : Fill out online application form
You will be asked to enter the following information online:
** Your name
** Your delivery address (with zip code)
** Your telephone number
** Your valid email address

** Required information for marriage certificate requests
** Required information for death certificate requests
** Required information for CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage Record) requests
** Number of copies you are requesting

** Name (maiden name if married female)
** Sex
** Place of birth
** Date of birth
** Mother’s maiden name
** Father’s name
** Purpose of your request

All information entered in this website will be kept confidential and will only be used to handle processing of document requests

Step 2 : Pay through accredited payment channels
** After you complete your online application, you will be issued a Batch Request Number and, for each request, a Request Reference Number.

When paying for all requests in the batch, specify the Batch Request Number. When paying for a particular request only, specify the Request Reference Number.

** Fees are inclusive of processing, delivery and government taxes.
** The fees and the available payment channels depend on whether your delivery address is within the Philippines or outside the Philippines.

Step 3 : Wait for Delivery :
Delivery within the PHILIPPINES :
** Your documents will be delivered through our courier service provider.
** If you need to get your document within 1 or 2 working days, you are advised to apply in person at the Census Serbilis Center nearest you (Find Census Serbilis Centers).

Delivery to OTHER COUNTRIES :
** You will receive your documents through PhilPost registered mail 6-8 weeks after payment. If you would like to receive your document through special courier services, email us at ecensus2 [AT] census.gov.ph. The additional courier fees shall be to your account.

Delivery Address :
When will I receive the document?
Metro Manila – 3-5 working days after payment
Metro Cebu – 3-5 working days after payment
Metro Davao – 3-5 working days after payment
Other cities/provinces within the Philippines – 4-9 working days after payment
Other countries – 6-8 weeks after payment

For faster delivery (5-8 working days after payment), avail of special courier services by emailing us at ecensus2 [AT] census.gov.ph.
Note: Add 10-15 working days in case your request will require manual search and retrieval from the NSO microfilm and paper archives (you will be informed through email if such is the case).

How To Check Request Status?

Enter the Batch Request Number or Request Reference Number of your request to check status.

Additional Simplified Procedure

There are two ways to get a birth certificate from the NSO (National Statistics Office) in the Philippines:

Online application:
You can apply for a birth certificate online through the PSA Serbilis website.

Here are the steps on how to do it:
1. Go to the PSA Serbilis website: https://psaserbilis.com.ph/.
2. Click on the “Birth Certificate” tab.
3. Click on the “Apply Now” button.
4. Enter your personal information, such as your name, birth date, and place of birth.
5. Upload a scanned copy of your valid ID.
6. Pay the application fee of PHP 155.
7. Click on the “Submit” button.

Walk-in application:
You can also apply for a birth certificate in person at any NSO office.

Here are the steps on how to do it:
1. Go to the NSO office nearest you.
2. Bring the following documents:
** Your valid ID
** A photocopy of your valid ID
** The birth certificate application form, which can be downloaded from the NSO website
** The application fee of PHP 155
3. Fill out the application form and submit it to the NSO officer.
4. Pay the application fee.
5. Wait for your birth certificate to be processed.

Your birth certificate will be processed within 3-5 working days for online applications and 7-10 working days for walk-in applications. You will be notified when your birth certificate is ready for pick up.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when getting a birth certificate from the NSO:
** You must be at least 18 years old to apply for a birth certificate online.
** You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 18 years old.
** You must bring the original copy of your valid ID when applying for a birth certificate in person.
** The NSO office may require additional documents, such as a marriage certificate or a death certificate, if your birth certificate is not available.

    I applied for NSO birth certificate online and paid at BDO las pinas last April 4 2014 amounting to P315. When will I receive my birth certificate?
