This facility can only be used once you have lodged your passport application form. You will need to quote the form number printed on your receipt.

If your application is in the early stages of the passport production process, you will only be able to track the progress of your application. The other online services will become available once your application details have been checked by the passport system.

Remember, if you have paid the Priority Processing Fee so that you can collect your passport, it will be available from the passport office where you paid the fee.

Otherwise, your passport will be sent via Registered Post to your mailing address.

Revisit our website later to check the status of your application .

Australian Application Details

Before you can use this facility, you must have submitted your passport application form at an Australia Post outlet, Australian Passport Office or Australian diplomatic mission overseas.

To view your application details and access our Payment Service you need to provide some personal information. Please note – not all fees can be paid online.

To maintain the integrity and security of our passport issuing system, and to protect the identity of the customer, we must ensure that passport information available online can only be accessed by an authorised user. Internet users will need to identify themselves before they can gain access to certain functions and information on the Passports Online system. Unauthorised users will be prevented from gaining access to information to which they are not entitled.

Once your identity has been verified, you may choose to request a Personal Identification Number (PIN) as a quicker way to track the status of your application or to use our Payment Service. Do not attempt to use the PIN that was provided to you when you began your online application. That PIN is to be used only to access your unsubmitted application form.
